piscian
Or you can buy a custom gaming laptop.... http://www.xoticpc.com/ P.S. they come with 9800 series too. I went custom with my second laptop. Still have it. http://www.stonemountainsystems.com/NP3790.htm The good: Spec: 15.4" WUXGA+(1900x1200) Pentium M 1.5Ghz Dothan 2MB L2 cache w/ Centrino 2GB DDR SDR PC2700 ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128MB dedicated video ram 60GB 7200RPM 8x DVD/24x CDRW WiFi 802.11 b/g Bluetooth Ready Built in Video Camera (640x480) 12 cell battery for extended life still runs great. I'm not shitting you I paid 2000$ for it when it came out. I was one of the first people in the states with a Centrino Gaming laptop. Previously the only way you could get a gaming laptop was a Pentium 4 which would at that time kill a battery in an hour, but my Centrino gives me 6-10 hours. Im sure youre set on HP, but I like Sager personally. They make gaming and business laptops

Acer has hard drive faster, smaller battery,no blue ray rom, more $. Also consider that fact that its an 18inch screen, that's pretty damn big for luggin around school lol. I like that acer though, still a good price.
piscian
Sigh. my rig is finished for now anyway. I'm a little pissed because one of my GSO's is artifacting at anything above 663 on the Core Clock. This is frustrating because the other one can do 750+. Thanks for rebadging old cards randomly nvidia! Im not upgrading right now because performance versus price doesn't impress me. Theres a nice HD 4830 for 68$ on sale right now those go to HD4850 speed without losing a breath, but fuck me I'm stuck with an SLI board. Maybe I'll ditch my setup and switch to a cheap P45, choke back my anti aliasing tears and get an AMD card. (AMD hasn't figured out how to do AA properly and cheat= crap.)
