Xaioa
A Staff member told you that HellsGamers doesn't allow people with a fresh VAC ban. 74 Days since last ban is pretty fresh if you ask me. Looks like you just have to wait a little and try again in the future. https://hellsgamers.com/topic/122889-garrys-mod-strawberryninjas-recruit-application/
KiLLeR SeNSaTioN™
if u have a vacban for the game that u aplyed for u have to make a new account u cant 'apply for admin' u can aply for mod do when aps com up if u have a vac for a random game that u arent aplying for put proof of that in the recruit app My impression is that VAC Bans are against Steam ID's not games and they do not go away, they are permanent. It doesn't matter what game he was playing when he got caught cheating, it's still a VAC Ban against the SteamID, and therefore he shouldn't be allowed to join. No, sure the vac is tied to their ID but the way those bans work is by banning you from every game that uses the same engine as the game you were caught cheating in. So in a way they are against individual games (engines) and if this guy had gotten a vac ban for cheating on css, the ban would also be there for gmod l4d dod:s and such but not csgo because it's an a different source engine. In this case his vac ban is for mw2, this won't affect him in any of the games we support because it uses its own completely different engine. He would be fine to join so long as he can show that the vac ban is only for that game and not one of the games we have servers for, the ban also has to be over a year old or so from what I've heard. Reason it's done like this is because of how many false vac bans people received back when mw2 came out with all those infected hacked lobby's and stuff. Wouldn't be fair to keep them out for someone else's hack.
