Hectorhv98 Posted September 11, 2016 Share Posted September 11, 2016 RTV command can sometimes be helpful but most of the time it's annoying as fuck for a couple of reasons: -People don't like the map (that they picked) -In ZE when they can't pointwhore they use it -Gets spammed in chat and mic - In lila panic map when nobody knew how to get in teleporter cade they decided to rtv and humans lose for that 4 reasons are enough i think, and it was good when we didn't had rtv before because these cunts couldn't spam chat for changing map after picking one that they don't like, know or can't pointwhore it. kthx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RTV can solve that without any administrator assistance. - If majority of people want to change map, then shouldnt they be allowed to? Heres a fix for your solution about the "cunts spamming chat" It no longer shows when someone RTV's, similar to how map voting takes place. This is only for mods so lets go to dylans point, if there are no admins on then we just simply type !menu > votechange map and + reason. Same options no or yes, of course 50 ppl spamming CHANGE IT TO RESCAPE AND VERTIGOOO, these 2 maps arnt even on rotation so good luck trying to calm a crowd of people screaming and swallowing their mics just to play a map that isnt even in rotation. Maps barely broke like 2/10 of the time, and if that happens we can call admins because we have a lot that can change map. Its like clicking on gmod and then being like, nah imma play cod. Why take that away from someone? Otherwise people join late and they had no say to begin with and rtv is needed to escape broken maps/situations. It has been used that way enough times to justify it. JK, but seriously, RTV'ing, despite having to hear other players screaming, provides the freedom for players to express their negative views about any current map they're on. In fact it doesn't even work half the time. Secondly if we didn't have it we wouldn't be able to move on from a map that keeps crashing, without an admin on the server.
