Need Help With Legs.

Well, the title says most of it. I'm really self conscious about my thighs, and calves, as they're just not really in great shape, yknow. I'm okay with my upper body, but I like doing track, and I've stopped recently, cause of a beautiful thing called sever's disease, which affects my growth plates in my feet, causing issues with huge pain when I run. I also, have Osgood-schlatter, which is similar to sever's, only in my knees, causing them to lock up.

RUN FOREST RUN

So, I need help strengthening my thighs/calves, without a lot (if any) jogging/sprints.

Go ahead, make fun of the names. Something I gotta suffer daily :P

Swimming is good exercise and the buoyancy of the water takes pressure off of your joints. Have you tried a stationary bike?

nope, not even that. I've really been putting a lot of exercise to help keep my legs in shape cause of the knee and foot problems, I was worried bout biking specifically causing of when you're pedaling the knee joints kinda lock up, and.. Ouch. But I mean, I'd give it a try happily.

I'd do swimming but no pools near us are open
