CorruptionX
8 rounds and no safety? I'd stay away from those for carry (it is still a great gun)

.lsd
1911 are collectors guns, theyre too heavy for cc and not enough rounds for that size of a firearm pick a nice one, its a safe queen and a range gun

MinusOne
I have a Remington 1911 R1 I open/conceal carry all the time. Great firearm. Has a manually operated thumb safety. And not to mention they are an extremely good looking firearm. Don't forget they're intimidating when you're looking down a barrel of one.
