I felt like compiling a list a common misunderstandings and fringe conditions which often confuse players in jailbreak. I’m sure there are more that I’m missing so please feel free to contribute and correct me if something is incorrect or not well explained. In writing this it has become apparent that some of this is just rehashing of bible verses, but I’m leaving those in as those are the verses which I see misinterpreted the most.

• S4S cheating rules/dodgeball
  There are two kinds of cheating in Shot for shot: crossing the lanes/yellow lines, and leaving the lanes completely.
  
  • A CT may not cross lanes or lines until the T does, but may do either once the T has done one. This does not apply during dodgeball.
    
    
  • If a T leaves the lanes completely he is cheating in his LR and may be killed by any CT. This does apply during dodgeball.
    

  [*] Soccer

  Soccer is the whole area of the soccer field and the perimeter around it. This allows for the standard “Run through blue room, run through soccer, etc.†orders to work as they normally do, but also requires leads to say get in soccer “field†if they actually wish the Ts to enter the enclosed fence.

  [*] Repeats

  Leads are only obligated to give clear orders once. If you miss an order you may ask for a repeat (don’t spam), but leads can choose whether to give it to you or not.

  [*] Changing your mind for opinionated days

  Deciding to “change your mind†after getting to the designated area for participating vs. not for an opinionated day is delaying. Leads don’t have to say “you may no longer change your mind†and you may be shot until you arrive at the other designated area for delaying the day.

  [*] Unstacking

  Often times there will be a lone red T among a bunch of unstacked Ts with an unstacked and freeze order. CTs may not simply blast innocent obeying Ts for getting stacked on by the rebel. Give the Ts who get stacked on the 3 second minimum to try to get unstacked from their rebellious friend. Also, if there is a T actively trying to stack on someone else to get them killed give them time to unstack and attempt to kill the one who continues to attempt to stack, don’t shoot the unstacking T for not being frozen he is simply trying to comply.

• On vs. at
  On and at have the same definition thus in order to kill those on top of the hurdles controls (such as “all t’s get TO the hurdles controls and freeze upon arrivalâ€) you must have them walking or crouching there or else they are free to jump on top as they freeze.
  
  
• First cell teleport
  CTs may take the first cell teleport but only to chase an active rebel. This is a rare occurrence as they likely will have to bait in order to pull this off which is still not allowed.
  
  
• Camping kitchen
  CTs may open the kitchen at the beginning of the round but they may not camp the teleport waiting for Ts. Once the Ts are at the top of cell stairs CTs can stand in the doorway of kitchen as long as they are in sight of the Ts.
  
  
• Baiting into freekilling
  “Ts should not be intentionally going out of their way in trying to get Cts tlocked or tlisted by getting freeshot, freekilled, or baited.†-Bible
  I wanted to leave direct bible quotes out of this guide, but I feel like I see this one being ignored a lot in LR. Ts should not be trying to get CTs to freekill them either by daring them to shoot them over mic/chat or spamming their guns near them to try to spook them. A CT should not be punished if a T was going out of their way to get freekilled.
  
  
• Opening of cells
  Once the lead gives any order consisting of what to do when cell doors open any CT may open the cells.
  
  
• Lava day burnings
  “Lava days are to be seen as a replacement of a designated floor, if a T is on the designated floor the T may be killed. If the T fails the jump resulting in touching the designated floor and the T successfully reaches another obstacle then the T may not be killed for touching the lava.†-Bible
  This verse exists for a reason. Stop shooting Ts once they are off the floor for your lava day as long as they are still trying to complete the tasked jump. All too often I see even veteran CTs blast them and then claim they were delaying by missing. This verse would not exist if that was correct.
  
  
• Baiting
  My rule of thumb for baiting is that if a T could reasonably believe they could land even a single knife hit on you by rebelling then you are baiting. Remember that half the Ts likely have speed far faster than normal, and our server makes bhoping to avoid getting shot far easier. Also stop taking the deagle cage booster while Ts are along the deagle cage, that is explicitly defined as baiting in the bible.
  
  
• Stack shooting
  A stack is a group of Ts, not necessarily required to be perfectly stacked on top of one another. Even if you can see a red head sticking out the side of a stack do not take the shot or risk being tlisted (even if you manage to only it that red). While this seems silly, it’s a rule that was put in place to prevent accidental mass freeshots as not all who trust their aim should.
  
  
• Shooting smoke
  There is no rule against shooting into a smoke, only against freeshooting. If a CT shoots into a smoke and does not freeshoot they have broken no rules. I personally do not as it is VERY risky.
  
  
• Music priorities
  Ts have priority only in LR and only over the other T in LR if they start a customLR. If a T wants silence during LR he may have it, they are not required to play their own music if they request the CTs to stop. For all other times it is whomever starts playing theirs first.
  
  
• Face on boxes/beds
  When leads tell you to put your face on something it does not truly mean your human face, but instead the front face of your entire character model. This means putting your face on your benches only requires bumping your knees against them and that you can be along the shorter boxes in big cage if the order is to put your face on the boxes of big cage.
  
  
• Direct Orders
  Oftentimes leads will have qualifiers to their orders “when I say go/next/etc.†to attempt to get Ts to do orders when they shouldn’t. This is fine, but if the lead gives a direct order for the T to do something e.g. “When I say your name and go get on big cage, Bobbythed get on big cage†the T still has to comply with that second, direct order and should not be shot because “I didn’t say goâ€. New orders are new orders.

I'll add something because not many people know this:

• Gun Toss
  No T may use the boost to throw their weapons in the cage, this results in them 'rebelling', and may be killed by any CT. Similarly, if a CT does it, it is illegal and they should be slain. In addition, a CT may not bhop to gain speed and throw their weapon, but they may do it if and only if the T also bhopped to throw it.

If its a lava day and you are to make the jump to chapel from the second tier of fountain, Lets say you miss the jump, and make it back up using the infirm ladder can a ct kill you sincxe you did not make the jump? or are you safe for making it back up?

Define the jump. As a lava day, the predefined area is lava in addition the the main floor. Ladder would = safe. As a lead its easier to give the order to make the jump successfully. There are very few jumps that are by the rules required as a jump they are allowed to retry
