Master ToF
This guide will suit those who have not very powerful pc or only graphics chipsets built into the processors. The goal is to try to maximize performance on the zs server. To start, - for windows 7: check "control panel", "system and security", "power options", that you have selected "maximum performance", if you do not see it, click on "display additional modes ". - for windows 10: right click on the windows icon at the bottom left, and write "choose a power management mode", then select "maximum performance". If you do not see it, click on "Show additional modes" This small parameter will ensure that the system can use 100% of its resources. Then, if gmod is open, close it. Go to the disk where Steam is installed. Go to Programs / Steam / steamapps / common / GarrysMod / garrysmod / cfg / autoxec (write click and open it with a notetext). Once the autoxec opened in notetext, copy / paste this: fps_max 100 cl_threaded_bone_setup 1 cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1 r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1 r_threaded_particles 1 r_threaded_renderables 1 r_queued_ropes 1 mat_queue_mode -1 studio_queue_mode 1 gmod_mcore_test 1 And before closing, REGISTER! Launch Gmod and join the hg zs server. In chat, click on the setting icon (as shown in the "chat picture"). Then set the "max chat historic" between 0 and 30. This is IMPORTANT, it is resource-consuming. Go to F4 options, and set the transparancy radius to 200 or +, this allows less to see the players and thus reduce the calculations a little. (on the "transparancy pictures" you can see the difference between 0 and 370) Go back to the menu and go to "hg options", scroll down and select "enable multicore rendering". This parameter is IMPORTANT. Then go to the graphic settings and adjust the settings according to the "gmod settings picture". I hope this little guide will help you enjoy the zs server in better conditions. Edited October 24, 2017 by Master ToF
Jxhn
Those commands should depend on the person’s computer for best performance. The variables could be different for each person. Master ToF
Yes, it depends on configurations etc. But some of these parameters increase the fps certainly.
