Hi there, fellow gamer! I have prepared a top 10 websites list for avid gamers. It was prepared according to my own taste! If you want to find a new place to hang out and find fellow gamers, this rating will surely help you! There can be websites and platforms that are already known for you, but I'm pretty sure there also will be some new names.

#1 PC Gamer
PC Gamer is a gaming site solely dedicated to PC Gaming. Having 20-year history, PC Gamer provides expert reviews on the latest gaming gears, introduces strange new mods and groundbreaking PC games news. PC gamer is responsible for hosting popular PC Gaming Show & PC Gamer Weekender events, which occur once a year. Besides daily updates on video game news and previews, you can also find amazing hardware buying guides and best gaming deals there.

 

#2 Destructoid
Destructoid was founded as a video game blog in 2006 by Yanier Gonzalez. The website is structured by the six main sections: the Homepage where editors post daily news and reviews, the Community Blogs, the Videos section which consists of original skits and trailers, the chat Forums, the Buy/Sell area where users trade games, and the Fight area where members can “fight” each other in a multiplayer mode. Destructoid is an awesome game news site, which is highly recommended for you to get recent updates.

This site is heavily influencing the gaming industry, especially sales of one or another game due to low or high reviews. Many game studios share opinions that low scores "can hurt the long-term sales potential". So if you are looking for a place where highly reliable critics define the status of the game, Metacritic is the right one. Join it to stay in line with all recent game reviews and updates, be sure that the game you are going to buy or subscribe is worth it.

GameFAQs is a website where all of the guides and walkthroughs on various games are contributed by volunteers. Well, actually most of the FAQs articles are not covering games’ Frequently Asked Questions… They are covering aspects of gameplay in the same way as strategy guides, with walkthroughs, item lists, maps, and puzzle solutions. Nearly all of the FAQs hosted on the site are in plain text, though GameFAQs does also accept stand-alone images, such as maps, diagrams, and puzzle solutions. So if you lost your way in some game, GameFAQs is the right place to come and solve the issue. Also, you can share your own thoughts on progressing the game.

If you are into speedrunning, Twitch can provide that too.
