Something you can eat
All ratings are just personal opinions, if you feel insulted because you main a certain weapon, I am sorry, please don't feel offended. This is a post made on 7/28/2019, please don't trash talk me in the year 9102, the meta may have very much changed by then. I may or may not update this list in the future. *weapons are my special picks, I will try my best to explain what most weapons do, but those are my favorite go to's. All weapons are rated without taking consideration of upgrades because some weapons benefit a lot more from cards than others. Tier 0 (Worth weapons) Nothing worth buying here, the only stuff a point whore should ever get are ars/resupply and traits. Suggestions: Reload speed(faster reload means a better damage cycle, higher efficiency = more points), Berserk(If you want to live on the edge, this is the one for you, eats away ammo really fast tho.) Accuracy(reduce the amount of rng so you can land those head taps) Tier 1 (IMO all pistols have their purpose, some are just more niche than others, power level also shifts back and forth.) High: Glock (Have the best DPS out of all t1 weapons, acts like a shotgun, shoots 3 bullets per shot, great for when zombies are already at the front of the cade.) *Magnum (Pick this weapon if you want to kill steal, a weapon that can deal 100+ damage on headshots is extremely good for picking off zombies that are already getting hit by others, also comes with a bonus effect of bouncing off surfaces, sometimes allowing to hit two zombies with one shot, or if you are a god pre-rework Hanzo player, you can go for that simple geometry bouncing off the floor headshot that deals pretty insane damage.) Mid: Bullseye (Great all-rounder, good for needing to dump ammo to suppress zombies pushing up from range.) Alyx (Shoots 2 bullets at a time, also a great all-rounder, a middle ground between bullseye and Glock.) Eraser (a decent weapon that does not shine in most situations, deals more damage the less bullet you have in the gun, similar to grim, however due to its low base damage, the effect is not outstanding, on average, you hit about ~35 damage per shot for the entire clip, the gun also got a very low pen factor, not that big of a difference in most cases. Overall its not as stable for point farm compared to the higher tier weapons, couldn't find a good place in the current meta.) Low: Stealth (If you want to go on a hide and seek, buy this weapon, otherwise, the weapon have trash stats, would be in the dumpster tier.) Tier 2 (I would only pick a weapon from this tier if I got ammo from dead people) High: *Ender (Great shotgun for early game, if you have left over ammo, you should always pick this up, deals decent damage, have decent kill steal potential when at close range.) Silencer ( best smg in the pack, best overall stats) PS:(prob the best ze weapon) Mid: Hunter (Only good for kill stealing, the DPS is low due to the slow reload speed, However, if you got double reload speed and traits, you will find out the reload speed is the only limiting factor for this weapon, The fire rate is actually very fast and you don't need to wait between shots. you should only buy this if you are holding a long line of sight, and you should always have someone else with you to prevent being swarmed. having pen is an added bonus, try to go for headshots when you can, this weapon have very good accuracy so the rng is less likely to screw up headshots compared to automatic weapons.) PS: The weapon is extremely broken along with the crossbows a long time ago when infinite ammo puts both current ammo and reserve to infinite. You shoot pretty much 20 bullets / s due to the fire rate of this weapon actually being very fast. Deagle (Once an insane tier 1 weapon, now found a new place in tier 2, decent base damage and pen, effective use of pistol ammo. However, the gun is not a good pickup directly if you didnt buy anything in the first round, you should only buy this weapon if you have a lot of pistol ammo and felt you should get an upgrade from your tier 1 pistols. In most situations, there are better picks.) PS: Can also be bought twice for crating dual deagles. Fusion (higher base damage than silencer in return for slower fire rate, compared to the sprayer, better accuracy but slower fire rate and mag size.) Sprayer ( Very inaccurate, but if you are right next to the cade, it should be able to get the job done.) PS: ( Can be crafted into akimbo sprayer if you buy another one, also gives you 400 ammo in reserve, if you are on the very extreme side, you can empty out the pre-loaded mag for an extra 40 rounds) Low: Bulletstorm (Big mag but that's about it, stats are bad compared to other smg in the same tier.) Akbar (Low stats all around, Waste of AR ammo, the only purpose of this weapon is to use it to pick up AR ammo from resupplies when I loot one from other people.) Tier 3 High: *Aurea (The best pistol in the game, extremely efficient weapon for point farming, high damage and fast damage cycles, shoots three bullets with every shot, but in a very tight spread that you can almost ignore, would always recommend upgrading to this weapon if you have a lot of pistol ammo by the end of wave 2.) Ump (Best smg in the tier for all-purpose, I would buy this weapon either the cade is not being heavily swarmed or when the server is not as populated.) DoomShotgun (Great weapon for point farming due to its high damage per shell.) Swift (Pretty much a direct upgrade from hunter, reloads bullet one by one by holding R.) *Mp40 (The best weapon for holding swarms in this tier due to penetration and good damage/speed balance.) Mid: Hailstorm (A good alternative to the Mp40, good for holding indoor hallways, bullets can bounce off walls and other zombies to hit an extra target, big mag and good firerate for a slightly lower base damage.) Stalker (Higher fire rate for lower base damage) AUG (Higher base damage for slower fire rate) Low: Promethium (You should never buy this gun, the only time you will be using this is when you craft it on wave 1 with battery + magnum, the gun is ok, but not worth its price.) Special: Tiny (This weapon requires headshots to be effective, however, due to the amount of lag and hit reg inconsistencies, headshots are extremely random, I wouldnt recommend this weapon for point framing.) -----Under Construction----- Tier 4 Edited July 29, 2019 by Something you can eat updated for tier
