Bunny Hopping on CS servers

If this is posted elsewhere just point me in the right direction.  I did a search and really found lots of confusing discussions.

What is the take on bunny hopping?  Seems a few players are really good at it and seem to take a clear advantage of it.  Some players seem to have high scores but if you were to take away the hopping they would be only average players at best.

As long as user isn't scripting, or using some form of scripting/macro and have a good mouse that allow them to bhop without scripting then it is allowed.

Here is a thorough guide to tell if someone is scripting you should save this link for future reference. Remember whether you are a admin or not, you can still collect evidence to provide mod/leadership for a ban.

so... for bunny hopping, do you need to crouch? cause i never do.  Also, would the mouse scroll down for jump be considered a macro or not allowed?

[bhop scripts]

@xl JAMKA lx it ain't you can use scroll wheel to hop, if you look at all the people that bhop in mdx it shows that there jumps are usually around 6 implying they use scroll wheel. And also a lot of the people who can bhop also have pretty good aim as well
