The more I hear, the more I think we need to have a server that alternates maps. There has not been an official decision on whether or not it will be done, but it's good to be prepared. I'm thinking 1 hour play periods on each map, then a mandatory vote (no rtv) with options to stay on the current map (max three hours in a row), and a bunch of other choices. I have a lot of great jailbreak maps that I'm hoping to throw up on the test server. I'd like to test them soon. It will be this Saturday at a time that will allow Americans and Brits to test out the maps. It will be at 3pm Eastern, noon Pacific, 8pm UK. We will cycle through a bunch of maps, play them for a bit, and gather feedback on how we think they will work on the server/what features would be nice to implement in new HG maps. I'll be putting on 52 slot maps for testing and also maps that do not have the spawn points but would be able to have them added. We don't want to have bad maps on the server. We're going to have maps that are fun, balanced, and good for the unique HG style of JB gameplay. Please post here only if you would like to test maps. I'm looking for 15-25 people who would be interested. You can stay and test for as long as you can and help determine which maps will be considered for the server. Thanks! My idea is to hopefully create a full rotation of completely customized HG maps (like hellsgamers_superfinal), made for us, each with a different theme/idea. I am going to using these people to test what our favorite features are that we may want to see in the next HG map and make a list. We're then going to find some good mappers and work from there.
