~Aj~
Meh, I dont like it. Part of the fun of jb sometimes is, in fact, nitpicking. This will ruin a lot of rebel opportunities in my opinion. The game is much too dependent on the CT's to let the T's have fun* with this new implication, when before this helped t's out a little bit. *Most CTs suck at this
ZEE SUPER GERMAN!
I see this as saving a lot of hassle that only dumbass ct's won't remember saying. Also saves time, and makes the game more fun, imo.
Illmatic
Lol, I still always forget not to say it anyways... But whatever I think it's a good addition to the rules. T's that were detouring and delaying usually ended up getting freekilled anyways
ricky2442
It should be up to lead CT to remember saying it, not for T's to remind them. But then again it does save a lot of time and hassel.
kill the leader
agree with OP. nitpicking is part of the game and a tactic to frustrate and distract the guards. some find siphaed annoying but i appreciate it a lot, especially when the angry guards focus on him and i end up escaping to the armory. Not for CT's to get high KD ratios
Siphaed
Meh, I dont like it. Part of the fun of jb sometimes is, in fact, nitpicking. This will ruin a lot of rebel opportunities in my opinion. The game is much too dependent on the CT's to let the T's have fun* with this new implication, when before this helped t's out a little bit. *Most CTs suck at this Just to be clear, nitpicking is fun for the T's, but it apparently gets on the nervs of the CT's. I love it strictly because it's a 2-way street and it becomes funny. Ya know I once did a trivia and told the winner "pick one person to die", the T said "Sipahed" and because I said person instead of T....technically he was right in picking me, so I slayed myself just to be fair. Some say that's too much nitpicking, but I say it's pretty damned funny. But, too much nitpicking and people get angry, even if it isn't too much really and you're just pointing out the slight flaws in the orders. They don't like being told that their orders, the way they were said, were wrong and can be exploited/loopholed for the T's to rebel easily. I'm starting to see the MOTD as less of a "server rules" and more of an "Iron Clad Contract to Prevent Rebeling" for the CT's. (Ex. Did you know that once a long while ago *over a month*, porn sprays were allowed on the server? Then people *kids* complained about it and they changed it to no porn; and then there was the proof truth of the fundamental flaw that breasts weren't porn so then it said nothing below the waste. All the anal retentiveness just for one rule because a few people were bothered). agree with OP. nitpicking is part of the game and a tactic to frustrate and distract the guards. some find siphaed annoying but i appreciate it a lot, especially when the angry guards focus on him and i end up escaping to the armory. Hey, I try to nitpick less and be slightly less annoying, but it's so damned hard with the flaws in the order are so blatantly obvious that they have to be pointed out. When we were about to do a Fountain Jump from Solitary yesterday, the Lead CT said "you have one jump to jump to 2nd Tier of Obstacle"...that's just a very obvious flaw, ...and almost nobody on the server noticed it until I pointed it out as I repeated it as I ran to the obstacle (while getting FKed by a non-attentive CT). Blade223333
Nitpicking is a major deal for jailbreak. If we had no nitpicking wed just end up with Lr all the time and no good rebelions that happen from nitpicking that everyone can join. So the no detours or delays should delay out of the game........ Sverrenn
People who always play ct will love this rule, because this makes it easier for them to power trip and kill more t's and feel as if they have bigger dicks as they kill tons of t's 45 seconds into the round. motive
I think it's a good rule. There's other things for Ts to nitpick other then no detours/delays. It saves time and you can do more fun games during the rounds.
Epic Vagina
nit picking slows down the game and caused a lot of T's to cry about Freekill. the new rules makes the game flow more and lets the Ct's do fun games faster and get to more LR's

Ts - If you choose to be a smartass (nitpick orders, argue about terminology, etc) don't be surprised if you are shot. Do it at your own risk! Slazenger
You tell someone to go from point A to point B. If they go somewhere other than where you told them to go, they are rebelling. That's just common sense. Instead, people spam and run around "detour and delaying" for fun and it holds up the game, causes misunderstandings, and it causes CTs to try to steal lead from other CTs. mccaincracker
This rule really takes out some of the joy of being a T, when im told specifically to go somwhere i love just crouching around in circles until they remeber to say it or get freekilled either way i think its hilarious. BenchOnStreet
I have began to say "No detours no delays" with all of my orders without even thinking. I slip up and say it every once in a while still.. lol.. anyways this helps out CTs, but T not so much.
F4ithl3ss
The reason it was taken out is because T's nitpick too much as it is, this just makes it worse. It takes about 1 minute to give orders before even starting the round, this takes away some of the mouthful, in a round CT's have to say "no detours or delays" about 5-6 times, it's not necessary to have. The point of jailbreak is to have the T's play games and have fun playing the games and try to rebel, not listen to a paragraph of orders that get spammed over anyway. When CT's that don't know the rules as well as they should give orders, and they don't say that, people nitpick, run all over, and get freekilled, it got to be too much of a debate, too much of a problem, and too many T-lists were filed over it. /no detours no delays
fox*
well this is what makes a good round GOOD.....at least. Well ive gotten use to saying it so im sticking with it...
gambit
This y i dont play HG jail break so many rules we have like 5 pages of rules it should be more simple rules and the thing that makes the t's red when they rebel it makes the game not fun for the t's

There are enough retards, idiots, nitpickers, rulebreakers, QQers, crybabies, whiners, assholes, trolls, and troublemakers on Jailbreak that every goddamn thought that goes through peoples' minds while playing JB has to be put on the MOTD. If it isn't there, people abuse it and then people complain. My ideal MOTD would be this: HG JB MOTD Don't be a dick. Behave yourself. F4ithl3ss
+1 for simple MOTD, and that is the reason no detours or delays was taken out. One rule out of the way that shouldn't even have to be there. Hopefully we can get some more knocked out of the motd and implied
CubanCarlos
This rule was implemented for many reasons. Like someone above me said, it speeds up the round by more people doing the actual order, and less people actually nitpicking it, going somewhere they are not supposed to, etc. It also caused alot of confusion. If a lead CT was to not have said no detours no delays, then we all know there would have been one t, who goes somewhere they are not supposed to, and then a CT ends up "freekilling" them. Like Slaz said, this rule shouldnt even need to have been implemented, since its common since when someone tells you to go to someplace, you go to it, not just make excuses and say you are going somewhere else. Its like if your boss told you to go to the conference room (lol wtf?) you are going to go straight there, your not going to talk to your little cubicle friends or take a break by the water fountain. We understand the whole point of JB is for the Ts to have fun, and we are trying to make the rules surround that as much as we can without completely ruining the game for everyone, or just siding it. With the implication of this rule, nitpicking will decrease, thus decreasing the time the lead ct has to talk, decreasing the time it takes for a T to do an order, decreasing the time it will take for LR to happen, and thus increasing LR time. Hope you guys like the new rule, and understand that sometimes, rules need to be placed to prevent total anarchy... even though a simple nitpick isnt much chaos, what can happen afterwards can surely escalate to it. Illmatic
It seems that a lot of people are no longer talking about the rule, but nit-picking in general. There are TONS of other stuff to nit-pick about. Just because no detours or delays is gone, doesnt mean that nit-picking is banned. People just hate change, that's all.
