The new Steam UI = Shit, for me.

 

 

How to Increase fonts in CHAT

• To change font go to My computer
  
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\resource\styles
  
• You will see a file called steam.styles right click and press open with notepad.
  
• Search this:

You can copy and paste the settings, the default is 12 here 18.

 

I use 20 (Resolution: 1280x1024).

Font: Tahoma (Default= Arial)

How to change the Fonts and Colors

 

 

In C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\resource\styles

Find steam.styles in your steam folder and open with notepad and search for:

 

Friends.InGameColor it should be "140 179 89 255"

 

Old steam used this

friends.ingamecolor "176 249 80 255"

Friends.OnlineColor "142 202 254 255"

 

Changing the fonts to old steam

basefont="Tahoma"

basefontbold="Tahoma Bold"

 

Save the file then restart steam to make the changes.

1. Extract ZIP

2. Copy the "Enhanced Steam by TDD" folder into /Steam/skins/

3. Go into Steam settings, click the interface tab and from the dropdown button for skin, choose "Enhanced Steam by TDD"

4. Steam will restart with the new skin

voice_busy.wav

voice_dialling.wav

voice_ringing.wav

warning.wav

After you did put the file in the folder remember to go at "Propieties" and check "Read only"
