Improving Accuracy ????

Whats good way to improve it I do pretty good I guess but my accuracy is .20 any tips on how to improve this? Just keep playing? My weapons of choice are deagle and ak and m4a1 ..

What's your crosdhair scale

Put a piece of tape on your screen for awp

try this: bind q "+attack; wait; lastinv"

 

this really helps me because it switches weapon really fast, and remember to fire 3 round bursts then press q quickly to restart recoil its great for every gun especially the awp. Also type cl_crosshairscale 9999 in console to have super small crosshair.

that is pretty much the biggest fail reply i have ever seen, deathmatch and it will make your aim better, also make your sensitivity low, mine is on 2000 dpi sensitivity 0.6 ingame, and in the middle on windows meter for mouse.

Mmmhmm. High DPI, low sensitivity.

 

I second using deathmatch to train. 7 headshot runs on crackhouse is quite gratifying.

Be a fa**** and awp, or keep your guns up at headlevel when walking until its a habbit

just keep playing the game. eventually you'll improve. the crosshair trick is pretty good but if you make it too small, sometimes it can be hard to see and will probably do you more harm than good.

LOL I do the headlevel thing alot get tons of head shots but when I check my stats they are .20 for accuracy thats bad right?

Quit spraying and shooting bursts of 3 to 5.

Set your crosshairscale to like something high. Mine is cl_crosshairscale 333333

Then go into our Dust 2 Deathmatch Server and practice your aiming. Thats really all I can think of until you get the hang of it.

I think you could also play in a high tick rate server and practice there. Or just play a lot

short bursts of bullets and start at head-level and as you keep shooting start aiming downer and downer to your enemys feet

Accuracy is overrated. The only reason I say that is, as long as you get the kill, does it matter how many shots it took?

 

Havin' put that forward, getting better aim is acquired through practice. Learn where the bullet goes in different situations. For instance, with the deagle, running forward makes the bullets trajectory angle slightly up. Making it easier for headshots.

 

Learn your sprays. Set your crosshair to cl_crosshairscale 6500. Thats the smallest it goes, although some people claim 20000 is the smallest there really isn't a differance. Also noteworthy is that the first bullet from most guns lands on the right side of the crosshair. SOOOO... aim just barely to the left.

With sniper's, lead your target a bit. Follow the gun smoke when spraying.

 

But really, don't put too much emphasis on your accuracy score. Most kills I get are 50 percent accuracy, especially with the AK. Mostly because I shoot twice when the first shot killed my target :-D

so your saying accuracy is over rated but it just matters if you get the kill.... so how are you going to get the kill without accuracy?
