-Black_Flash- Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 I just finished downloading the new update for CSS and was ready to play some JB, but then when I tried to join, the game just goes back to the menu, I checked the console and this is what it said: Invalid Steam key size. Try verifying game content integrity NB There is a very good chance that your cache is tainted (i.e. corrupt)... so word to wise, at your own risk dude 2. Defrag your HDD or Steam Cache (same window for Steam) THis most likely isn't the case but it may help. 3. Restart steam and delete "clientregistry.blob" in your Steam root. e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\ clientregistry.blob And please make sure you close steam before doing this...
