Updated MOTD Suggestion.

I'm not sure if you're proposing new rules or proposing the addition of "understood rules" into the MOTD. Some of the rules you have added aren't true unless you are trying to push them into the MOTD. The red=dead rule doesn't change just because lead doesn't want some baited T to die. The knife at your own risk rule is there for that. Lol we had a five page thread JUST on this rule... and a 4 page spam thread over it. In any case some of the suggestions just seem like unnecessary things that could solve current problems but create new ones (CTs being slayed because of lying Ts and so on...).

Laz is right. Red will always = dead even if a lead wishes it not to. I have a post right after yours in the RED=DEAD in general with crosshair's confirmation of this. The only acception to red = dead is games like zombie freeday, pokemon, 300, etc.

Do not shoot or kill innocent T's. Doing so will result in admin action, be it slay or teamswitch.

I personally don't believe this part is actually necessary. No CTs shouldn't kill innocent Ts but it's jailbreak, not gungame. Almost anyone who actually has a bit of common sense should know you aren't supposed to kill the Ts. I mean...if the other CTs aren't doing it why should they? And anyone who does it and get kicked/banned for it who comes QQing to the forums about it saying "But I didn't know you weren't supposed to kill them!" probably shouldn't be playing in the first place...

CTs should be lenient, if a T isn't doing the order, warn them and repeat the order if needed. No one likes a CT that kills a T for moving his mouse a bit.

I would like to agree that this should be placed in the MOTD. Mainly because of a jailbreak thread that turned into a "should CTs be lenient or not" thread. Actually it would be nice for all CTs to have a little reminder that we're playing a game and trying to have fun with it. I honestly don't want to die every round before I even get to leave my cell to play a game just because I knifed my wall, or looked at my cell mate.

Do not give T's guns, or purposely die near them. Do not carelessly throw guns around, drop your guns in a place Ts will not be able to reach easily.

I'm not sure how I feel about this rule actually. I'll leave this up to someone else...but honestly, with crosshair's mod "anti-gunplant" this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Most of the time I whitness a CT dying and try to go for his guns they're gone. As for gun planting, the people who do get slayed automatically and they're guns dissapear.

(except for mass freekillers...

This one, like the last one I'll leave up to someone else, but again (my two cents) there is a "mass freekill" mod crosshair put on as well. Mass fkers are automatically slayed, teamswitched, and T listed. Admins don't usually have to worry about that.

Admins are not to abuse the @chat or the !msay chat. They are for warnings ONLY, any other use of this could result in loss of admin or ban.

This rule they should know by the time they even get admin. Thanks to this thread: https://hellsgamers.com/?pageid=admininfo They should know the rules.

Now, this is only my opinion, but if they are too careless to read the rules on being an admin in the first place and don't know these rules then they need to face the consequences of their actions, they shouldn't have to be told more than once what the rules are on being an admin, and if they do they can go back to that thread and re-read it.

The motd needs to stay simple. If the motd starts to become strict then it will become a book again. If it does become a book then no one will read it.

Master is right here, too, though. Before JJK became Jailbreak Warden again Slazenger had the motd extremely long and detailed and most people wouldn't even take the time to read it. It even took me almost half an hour to read through it. But, there are some rules here that I agree would work to better Jailbreak, even if it's a little bit. And if I'm wrong then who's to say it still wasn't worth a shot?
