Zombie Panic Source Server?

Hey everyone,

 

I'm not sure if you're all familiar with the FREE source mod called Zombie Panic Source but I find it very entertaining, and I believe it has a lot of potential for expanding our community.

 

I couldn't find a thread with this question already posted so I figured I'd ask:

 

Is it possible to consider getting a server for ZPS set-up in the near future?

I guarantee it'll fill quickly, the player-base for that game has a shortage of good servers, and tight groups of loyal players form quickly around stable and well-managed servers like the ones we host.

I havent seen a good zombie server in forever. I would love for this to happen. Would it be zombies are human players or zombies as AIs?

if i recall zombie panic source was not as fun as zombie panic for the original HL, we can always look towards expanding into the mod genre, and i would fully support the zombie panic source server. If it his the word zombie in it you know I'm on board.

We would have more luck with Zombie Mod for CS:S which we are thinking about making our own version, we could use help on that.

I just finished downloading it and playing again after about a year or so, and I have to admit that you're right. It's not as crowded as it used to be.

Plus, that DoorManIsGod server is still somehow the most popular. (I hate that community )

 

It seems that it would be a waste of resources to spend money on a server for ZPS at this time.

 

I'm interested in helping on the customized Zombie Mod, though. I'll keep an eye out for info in the near future.

I support the idea of Zombie Panic Source server--I loved that game, it was really exciting and I would definitely play more if we had a server on it.
