d-_-b chronic
Im still very new to the clan but i know how powerful IRC can be. IRC channels are free and just have to be registered and I know how to do all that and #hellsgamers is available and not being used. Its just our own personal chat channel that people can join and so on. Everybody can download mIRC for free and keep it for free to get on the channel and I can help whoever needs it with getting that all set up. The IRC channel can also give an extra way for people to contact/communicate. Other channels if you dont know already that are on the Gamesurge network of IRC is #sourceinvite #sourcescrim #sourceringer #tf2scrim #tf2ringer #50calibre, etc. I know HG has been around for a while because I love the DM servers to practice on. My goal/what I would like to do and see from HG is keep the casual playing dominance on games and also start branching out into the competitive part such as CEVO and ESEA as thats what I love to do and have done for a while. Please let me know what yall think, I would love to hear the feedback and if its not plausible then thats cool too. lata
ttaM
We've tried to do IRC channels in the past but our community has always run fine without it. On top of that our community is relatively young and IRC isn't something they are familiar with. Appreciate the suggestion though. Maybe in the future we can look into it again. Homer
d-_-b chronic, If you are willing to help people that have no idea how to use mirc, I can start our channel again, we have double the members than we did last time we had irc. If you would like to make a nice guide step-by-step with pictures from downloading to authing and joining the channel, that would be great and we can give it a try again. Thanks for the suggestions. desKrriado
If you are willing to help people that have no idea how to use mirc... What about http://cgiirc.org/ or something like http://www.mibbit.com/ nice web chats for IRC. Easy for newbie IRC users. I know X-Chat and mIRC works better. Just saying

A sexy mibbit irc gadget on the hellsgamers website would be a great way for those unfamiliar with IRC to become join the fun.
d-_-b chronic
I mean im down to take the time to write a step by step basic guide for downloading, registering, authing, hiding host, performing, and joining channels. I think it would be a good addition to Hellsgamers and I got the time to make a guide so just let me know where to post the guide and I should have it ready soon. d-_-b chronic
I have finished the guide. It is in a microsoft word .docx file. A staff member or whoever can look over it to see if its clear enough because i was pretty faded while making it. And please keep in mind its just the basics to using mIRC but goes from downloading all they way to putting perform commands in. Just let me know who to send it to. Thank you.
