On my way to the office today, a guy who was hopped up on Meth and Heroine smashed into me with a 5 tonne cube van he stole while being chased by the police. My car didn't fair too well. Yeah I'm glad too, I'm pretty bummed about the car. As for the damage and the felon who caused it, he's uninsured. However, I will be recieving some form of payment so I'm still pleased with that. Anyone running away from the police after taking a speed ball has hit rock bottom. Anyways, it's good you're okay. Sucks the fucker had to total your car. How are you getting to work now? Doesn't sound like he had anything else. He did a lot more damage than destroying my car though; he smashed a police car, drove through two yards, and a daycare centre before landing in someone's pool and fleeing by foot. As for my car, the insurance company has been gracious enough to give me a paid rental to help me out since they know the collision wasn't my fault and was caused by a man abetting the police during a police pursuit. However, once they have estimated the cost of my car and make me an offer, the rental agreement is over.
