Rick Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 I was recently in a situation where several players including -hg- adrien changed his name to -hg- ALL T's FREEDAY then when i asked him he changed it to ALL TEE'S FREEDAY then khan and several others proceeded to nitpick and change their names to similar things. they were all terrorists. I haven't seen anything in server rules or motd regarding this, can someone PLEASE clear this up? Is a misleading name like that allowed? I've seen several admins warn for the word "freeday" in t names before, but idk... Also: this isn't a report or anything, which is why i haven't included proof. It's just a inquiry. Violent J Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 cal45 if you use i believe the console command "setinfo name "insert name here"" it changes your IGN but not your steam name im not sure if you guys would allow that but yea ,as for the name issue i believe you should add this to the MOTD cause ive talked to multiple admins that seem to just go by favortism and will kick and or ban anyone who isnt there friend, like my self i was in game with 3 or 4 different ppl that had names like that and i asked the admin if it was allowed and he said he didnt care but when i changed my name cuase i was bored he asked me to change it and when i asked about the others he said they had to change it to, then when i was kicked i came back with a different name and they were still there with the same names Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
