Problems Connecting to Dust2 Deathmatch Server (67.228.181.72:27015)

Hey, i am having problems connecting to this server. :s i keep getting the message it stopped attempting to connect after 4 attempts. I tried to get in using the Reserved Admin Slot but that also failed.

any advice please?

and its not even coming up in my favourites :s or history

ummm are you trying to connect through the site? or trying through console? Cause the site might have a typo OR you did something wrong in the console. Otherwise if you are connecting through steam search in server list. it maybe going down at that moment after the server restarts.

through the ingame server lists and the console it started doing it last night as well, and i thought it would only be a temporary problem but now im not sure :s

Try pinging the server,

 

Start -> Run -> cmd.exe

 

On the Command Prompt,

 

ping 67.228.181.72

 

Post the results...

 

Please ensure that your ports are forwarded correctly if you have an older networking device

I was having the same problem with jailbreak about 40 minutes ago.. all i had to do was restart css and it was fixed

Okay, if you can try one more thing that would be great

Restart your computer and router

Re-login to Steam and see if you are still able to connect

 

I was going to ask, are you able to connect to other servers?

thanks enigma, mine is working again now i did try rebooting my whole pc and CSS multiple times, but it didnt work so dont know what was going on :S :L but yeahh

think i answered the first one, but yes i did , i was able to login to steam, however i wasnt able to connect to other servers :s so it was probably something wrong with mine but no idea :L
