I'm Doing a Study on this Subject, and i need your Opinions.

Do you like Wal-Mart?

Are there any "good" reasons to not shop at Wal-Mart?

Do you think it Destroys Middle Income Family Jobs?

Do you care of their Impact in Society?

According to many/Few people, Wal-Mart destroys jobs, puts mom & pop operations out of business, is anti-union, pays low wages, exploits its workers, practices predatory pricing, destroys small towns, is too big, sells too much junk, doesn't provide health insurance to all of its employees, and, when all else fails, buys too much from "Red" China.

Sales are running at an annual rate of about $450 billion, Impressive.

Wal-mart is the seventh largest export partner of china

my Points,

Impact of Wal-Mart Stores on Retail Wages and Benefits

Labor-Market Effects of Wal-Mart Expansion

Thanx guys.

the way how i think of it

Wal-Mart was once a small business, got off their lazy ass and actually expanded and became a HUGE business but became shitty when they got imports from china and fucks us over with their shitty plastic

most small businesses are lazy and only have one shop, walmart did once but expanded

walmart would be great without their shitty products

so u mean Wal-Mart = China Products?

Wal-Mart uses our Flag to send a message of Being 100% American.

but More than 80 percent of the 6,000 factories in Wal-Mart's worldwide database of suppliers are in China.

More than 70% of the products sold at Wal-Mart are made in China.

Do you like Wal-Mart? No, they are a bunch of assholes

Are there any "good" reasons to not shop at Wal-Mart? Yeah, keeping small family owned stores in business.

Do you think it Destroys Middle Income Family Jobs? Yes, Walmart opened near my old town when I was young and it killed a bunch of businesses

Do you care of their Impact in Society? Yeah, I think they create and maintain the image that Americans are dumb hillbilly fatasses.

You are not doing a study on Wal-Mart. You are doing a study on why it is bad. There is a difference.

Wal-Mart is the perfect example of free market capitalism. If you can't keep up, it's really too bad.

Wal-Mart. We love it. Cheap goods. If it breaks, Return. No questions asked.

Is this a school project? If so, it really sounds like you have a teacher pushing ideals onto you. That sucks.

Do you like Wal-Mart? No. Their customer service is garbage, and they like to fluctuate prices for their private label (Great Value) above the name brands to see if the quick shoppers are paying attention.

Are there any "good" reasons to not shop at Wal-Mart? Plenty. My local supermarket doubles coupons up to $1.00, and my local Super Target is always having better sales and promotions to upstage Wal-Mart.

Do you think it Destroys Middle Income Family Jobs? How would it do that? I understand it rolling small buisness down the street.

Do you care of their Impact in Society? Not really. They will eventually collapse under their own weight.
