6. Please tell us about the incident: I was messing around in JB this morning when I noticed Crosshair was there. I was told he did the scripts for JB, and I asked him such to make sure, he told me "[admin] HG | Cr(+)sshair : i did everything, suck my bawls"

 

Now I'm quite certain that's not a very nice thing to say in response to a simple question. So I typed the following "[HG] Church : I'd like for you to go die in a hole for that shitty script"

 

Obviously not very nice either, but meh I'd say he deserved a bit of backtalk for his comment. Regardless, I continued to criticize his gunplant script commenting on the way it kills you in armory if you're trying to pick up different weapons and a T walks in front of you and picks up one you drop. Obviously bad scripting right there.

 

I am then "Disconnect: "QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ".

Disconnect: "QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ"." Obviously him kicking me mid round.

 

I rejoin and call him out on abuse then say that I think he's just mad that I'm right and he should fix the script.

 

I get kicked again and then reconnect. I tell him to quit abusing and he responds with "yeah quit abusing me" I say I'm not I'm just criticizing his bad script. I then get kicked for a third time and upon reconnecting say "*DEAD* [HG] Church : I'd LOVE for you to keep abusing me Crosshair. I need a little more for ana buse report on the forums"

 

He said nothing to this and after about 4 minutes I said "Seriously though Crosshair, you should fix the script."

 

He says "church stop acting like a douche, k?" I ask him how I'm acting like a douche, all I'm doing is telling him his script doesn't work and he's just kicking me (which is abuse of his power btw). He finally says "don't question your master" and I say ">implying" and then get a 240 minute ban for "douchebaggery"

Beyond this I connected to teamspeak and am sitting in the channel minding my own business when someone named "The_Monkey" joins and sends me a private chat telling me how I shouldn't say things like that to one of HG's scripters and how if I wanted to make a suggestion to post on the suggestion forums. After arguing with this guy I didn't even know that I was simply stating a fact to the creator of the script directly that it doesn't work, and I was abused for it, I was banned from TS.

 

Honestly this post is really fucking long and probably stupid sounding to most of you, but I'm posting it because my time and enjoyment (however small or meaningless) on the JB server was ruined because someone couldn't take a little criticism.

 

I feel that the two banning (and three kicking) actions for no good reason at all except to shut me up, is proof that you guys just don't give a shit about your members unless they're paying you.

 

I'm going to try to keep the rant to a minimum but the community is becoming a corporation of greed. I'm not the only one who's realizing this and part of the evidence is in this very sub-forum. All of the abuse threads are "Reviewed thank you" Or "not enough info". Barely anything is ever actually DONE about the abuse and Staff/Council blow it off as "Pft it's the internet it doesn't matter they're just whiny members who can't shut up and who cares unless they're paying us"

 

That's how I see it anyway. It may be apparent to some of you now that I'm reaching back to an old comment I get mocked a lot for (and one that's turned into a meme of HG) and that is "corrupt".

Man I just keep making this longer. My point is that the time I've wasted and am wasting on YOU reading this now is a result of impairment of integrity on your admin's part. Rather than just explain to me that if I have a complaint about his script I should post on the forums instead of bitch to him about it (all the good forum posts do anyway. This one will probably be deleted or some shit) Crosshair elected the easy and RUDE way out, which was disconnecting me until I was upset enough to provoke him into banning me.

 

I don't expect anything from you. Just thought I'd let you know and share my thoughts.

After being informed of what was going on via staff channels, I instructed crosshair to ban you for 4 hours in hopes that your attitude would change. I then proceeded to see if you were on TS3 so that I could talk to you to explain the situation. I was hoping to resolve it rather quickly and reverse your ban. Instead, you got rather snippy with me. This resulted in your permanent ban from TS3, and your server ban to permanent.

 

I will converse with fellow staff and council as to the outcome.

 

Let it be known that though crosshair may have made a rather snide remark in response to a possibly innocent, but most likely douchey question, you do not have the right to criticize his work in that manner. Especially within our servers.

This is a completely unnecessary comment, and absolutely not helping your case.

This script problem you should have addressed in a better way without attacking the creator, there is a forum topic for JB bug reports. These scripters devote many hours/days/weeks and don't deserve disrespectful comments on the work they volunteer freely for the community.
