i think everyone needs to have a cell phone regardless of the situation. maybe not small children. i seriously don't know why anyone wouldn't have one unless they are extremely poor, extremely stupid, or live under a damn rock. if you go outside more than once a year, you should definately have one. i don't know how many situations i've been in that i was glad to have a cell phone afterwards. get bored somewhere: talk, text or browse the web on cell phone. get in an emergency situation in the middle of nowhere: call 911 on cellphone. need to look up a bus schedule sitting at a buston late at night: look it up on cell phone (i've used this 1 many times). i mean there is really no reason not to have one. if you have problems doing stupid things involving a cell phone, well then you deserve whatever comes to you. if you have a propensity to use more minutes than you have or go over the texting limit, well maybe you deserve to pay alot in bills. all in all, sorry if i came across rude, but a cell phone is probably one of the most important material possesions a person can have.

There should probably be a poll option for "yes".

There's a lot of good and bad from being connected to the entire world at any given moment. Really though, I've had legitimate reasons to need to be contacted at the drop of a hat, so I've always had a phone tied to my hip. Unless you're living in isolation, it's almost a requirement to have one.

I got rid of my phone because everyone knows that the government is using it to frame us for 9/11.
