The n64 was the prime of nintendo's game consoles in my opinion. I had issues sleeping after this. The guy did it as a joke, and posted on 4chan about it. He got a huge following, but recently revealed it to be a simple ARG (Alternate Reality Game). He is self funded, and currently in the process of making a game based on this.
