Angel Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) So I've got a CS:S problem with the "Voice transmit volume" under "Voice" settings; it just won't save the settings and it's driving me crazy!!!!! This means I can't use my mic when I play. I move the slider to the max (right), click apply then ok. I go back to the voice settings and it hasn't saved However, when I change the Voice receive volume it saves; wtf?! The config.cfg file isn't read-only and I've searched and searched and searched everywhere on Google, but no luck. If you can help me with this problem and fix it you will be a hero =P EDIT: after trying to change Voice transmit volume I open up the console and I get this message: exec: couldn't exec userconfig.cfg Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/config.cfg Edited April 5, 2011 by Angel Descends New info on problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Angel Posted April 5, 2011 Author Share Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) FIXED: I found this command and typed into console and transmitting voice works fine; only took 4 hours to find... voice_enable 1 I guess I'm the hero then =P Hope this helps anyone who experiences this problem.
