Rudabaga
Since I've been having a lot of problems with my internet provider. What is the best internet provider? Money really isn't a problem since I can get a job over summer. I live in Dallas, Texas. Edited April 18, 2011 by Rudabaga

RedDevil6193
charter works great for me
Linoleum Knive
I have no complaints about Cox communications, but from my backhanded knowledge of ISP's in your area, the only one I know of is TWC, and I never heard a good thing about them. LaMigra
comcast
Plaayer
I have, and don't suggest Time Warner Cable, or TWC. It's overpriced to the max and the download/upload fluctuates ALL THE TIME. Here's a scenario, which has happened to me before: At 2AM, I might have 22/1 internet connection, being download/upload in megabits. Then at 2:15AM, I might 1/0.1, which gets super annoying. It also might stay at 1/0.1 for hours.
Toxygen
I've heard good things about Fios and Comcast, no personal experience, though.

NOMNOM
I've heard nothing but greatness about Charter. Free occasional, permanent speed increases ftw.

Nevodka
comcast This. I used to live 10 minutes from Dallas, definitely the best in the area.
anon
I also live in the area and I use ATT U-Verse, damn reliable and fast.
animeking503
I've had TWC before and never had any issues. Though where I'm at now, my only option is Comcast. I'm not a fan of them but it does get the job done!
Bob the Android Penguin
I have comcast, the internet service is good, but good luck if you need customer support. We've had so many issues with customer support.
Logix
Comcast is what I have. I always have a ping over 100. Not sure why, and its not my rig. But I would suggest comcast.
