I was standing on top of a really tall slide at the park. I looked up at an airplane going above me, fell of the top of the slide backwards! I cracked my head open and had stitches for ages, but now (if you saw me) you wouldn't even know it happened.

I just remember a serious injury I had. Back in elementary school, when we were playing kick ball, someone kicked the ball straight to my face and shattered my glasses all over my face. I was bleeding all over my face from the glass and thankfully none of the glass went in my eye otherwise I would've most likely be blind to this day.

So, in your original post, you say that you'd never had a serious injury and then decide to post this? Why not just edit your first post to include the memory that you didn't seem to have before?

tl;dr stop being a post whore.

Broken pinky, shattered patella, hairline fracture of my forearm, stitches/staples/steri stitches on my head when I was 2, severly sprained ankle, broken arm, subluxed my knee 3 times freshman year, bruised cornea. I can't decide from the list so maybe you can just pick one.

Not really that bad of stuff. Umm, sprained ankle, got bit by a dalmatian when I was a kid down to the bone, and dislocated shoulder. The shoulder was the most recent. I was snowboarding and caught an edge and landed right on the shoulder. I had to pick myself up and snowboard down the mountain to the medical center and sign a bunch of paperwork and crap, all while my shoulder was out of socket the entire time. That sucked. No broken bones ever though (knock on wood).

While I can't really call them injuries and they were both short-term, getting tased and pepper sprayed was pretty fucking painful.

lol yes, there was a lot of QQ'ing that day by all (OC not Taser).

My most recent hit was with Sabre Level III Crossfire for my LE OC Instructor course. Before when we qualified with Fox (the one with 5,300,000 scoville heat units) they had us do an entire course with stations and everything. With this stuff, the Sabre master instructors just had us do a real quick action drill, a couple of verbal commands, and then straight to decon. It was freakin debilitating.

Have you tried that Sabre Decon product at all? That stuff is amazing! Had us back to normal in under 30 minutes(well most of us anyways) and I now swear by it.

Pain level vs. pain level, I would say Taser was worse than OC, but the Taser has an off button and OC does not. That being said, I would get tased multiple more times before taking that OC again. Now I get to spray other people to certify them so I guess it was worth it. ;)

On a side note, the guy that used to do our OC training was a sadistic bastard. He had us actually hold one eye open and had the spray go directly into the eye. That shit was messed up. Especially considering the hypodermic needle effect can really mess up your eyes. Needless to say he is no longer with us and now our courses our based off letting our students experience how it affects them, but not making them suffer.

Reminds me of the fun we all had in the gas chamber. I like how it's on the mandatory annual recertification list.

OC requires a re-cert, but the only time exposure is required is for your first time. It's just a refresher course.

Oh, I know, but WE get the chamber every 12 months. It's almost a past time at this point. Like riding in cattle cars and having to duct-tape equipment back together.
