Angel Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 I'm going to start playing RS again, including getting membership soon, and I'm going to make a clan for the HeLLsGamers community only, seeing as I haven't heard or seen of one, for those of us who play anyway Requirements to enter the clan: -f2p and p2p are welcome. -Friends of HG, -hg-, [HG] and HG | ONLY (includes event managers, staff and council). Rules of the clan: -No racism. -No botting. -No douchebaggery/trolling. -No ignoring other clanmates, especially if it's me, a founder or an admin. -No recruiting of ANYONE outside of the HeLLsGamers community without speaking to me personally. -You MUST be on TS3 in the Runescape section when playing, and be friends with me and other clanmates on Steam; at least be friends with me, Deputy Owners and Admins at the very least. -You MUST be running Runescape through the Steam Interface as a non-steam game (explained below). -Swearing is allowed, yay profanity filter ANYONE breaking these rules will be subject to being kicked out of the clan for good, this is your only warning. NO ONE is exempt of these rules. What the clan is about: -Friendship -Teamwork -Helping each other out -Questing -Skilling -PKing, if you're into that -Trading -Dungeoneering -God Wars Dungeons -Other clan based games/events -and in general having fun To run Runescape through the Steam Interface as a non-steam game: 1. Download the Windows Client of RS from here. 2. Install. 3. Open Steam and click on the "Library" tab in the "All Games" section. 4. On the bottom left hand corner click on "Add a Game..." then click on "Add a Non-Steam Game". 5. A list of programs will then display, select the checkbox next to "Runescape" and then click "Add Selected Programs". Runescape will then be in your list of games. 6. Right click on "Runescape" and click on properties. 7. Now in the "Target" textbox, make sure after the filepath OUTSIDE of the brackets, there is a space then runescape. Example. 8. Click "Close" and you should now be able to run Runescape through the Steam Interface. However, to be able to create this clan I need 4 "founders". That means, I need 4 players who are interested in joining the clan to sign a "charter" in-game. Those 4 founders will have to be in-game and in the Clan Camp to sign the charter and create the clan. If they sign the charter and log off, then their signature doesn't count. The first 4 people to post interest in becoming a founder will be considered, or if they change their mind the next person in post will be considered. When applying for founder in your post, include this template (if you can call it that ): -Steam log-in name: -Runescape name: -Timezone: <- optional if you don't know. -Extra Comments: You are also required to friend me on the forums and on Steam (TraceurHawkeye). ONLY -hg- and above can apply for founder. More info on founders is here. Now for the ranking of clanmates: -I will be the Owner (Clan Leader). -The 4 founders I will appoint as Deputy Owners, my 2nd in commands. They will be able to recruit and determine clanmate's ranks. -HG | , staff and council will be Admins. They will also be able to recruit and determine clanmate's ranks. NO ONE can rise past this rank. -[HG] will be Generals. They can recruit. --hg- will be Corporals. They have no extra privileges. -Friends of HG will be Recruits. They have no extra privileges. They cannot rise beyond the Captain rank. Friends of HG, -hg- and [HG] will rise in ranks accordingly to my, the founders, and the admins discretion. More info on clan ranks is here. The clan name will be decided by the founders and myself, but I will make the final call. Suggestions are encouraged. This also goes for the clan motto, mottif, cloak, clan time zone and clan home world. I haven't decided on a time for all of this to commence, but I will update this post when the founders and I have. Hopefully in a day or two. We haven't got 9000 people playing, or tons of seperate types of players (merchers, pker's, skillers, etc.) Seperate wouldn't hurt, but then again.. why make it? The "HeLLsGamers" Runescape clan which excist doesn't have any restrictions. You are putting tons of unecassary restriction on a clan, which most likely would make it not enjoyable (or at least, less enjoyable). Some of the rules you have made are rediculous and way to strict. You're basically offering something, we have already got, but with a fancy forum thread. And yes, because I would like to be a leader; to create something from nothing and possibly grow it into something big.. Why not just help improve the one we have already got?
