Phate
I use a usb plantronics mic, and in ts3, my voice goes robotic and garbbly. I have to quit ts3, and replug my mic to fix this. What am I doing wrong??? It never happens in game, on skype, or anything else.
Darkwing Duck
It could be a couple things. The first is your internet connection: If you have a slow or laggy connection Teamspeak 3 handles lag in the sense that it will distort your voice instead of delaying it. Otherwise you might just need to update the drivers for your headset.
fox*
find the model of your headset, and google for any driver updates that are possible. Download them restarts your computer go into ts3 sit for a bit and see what happens.
F4ithl3ss
in addition to all of that, the slot you plug your mic into could be fucked up, that's what happened to me and now i use the one in the back of my computer instead of the front
enigma#
assuming this is a usb headset (op comment), you may want to swap USB ports. E.g. if it's plugged into the front ports, consider plugging it into the back ports (vice versa). I would also suggest looking at the audio settings in Windows for capture (and in Teamspeak as well). Check that there isn't an DSPs or plugins enabled for it (Windows and teamspeak). As well, if this is a wired headset/microphone, check the cables that there aren't any weak frays. If you move and talk (a bit can affect it), it may be possible that would cause it (although most headsets/microphones take care of their cabling...) Phate
I will check the wires, but the port doesnt matter, it just goes robotic just the same
