Wingless
As much as I loved my BB back before the G1 came out, RIM really hasn't made any breakthroughs in their OS or UI in quite some time. It's quite good for business (until Android gets a good foothold in remotely managed devices) but that's about it. Well, I guess I did take a liking to suretype, but it isn't worth it. Obviously, my vote goes to Android. Just make sure you get a phone that doesn't have horrible hardware.

blackberry4511
I like the droids. the software is really good an user friendly. But I have noticed, from people i know who own droids, that they soon start to glitch and become very slow and will start to become unresponsive at times. As for blackberry's (and i am not favoring it because my name is blackberry) they can be very nice phones, depending on which one you get. I have the new bold, very good phone. But its not user friendly to people who haven't used a blackberry before. There both good phones, it just depends on what your using it for. personal things, go with a droid. Business things or emails and stuff, go with a blackberry. Either way you'll have a hole in your wallet.

anX
I've always hated texting/emailing on non-physical keyboards so my previous 2 phones were blackberries. However, the BB hardware AND software are both a few generations behind. There are plenty of better options out there. I just upgraded to the Samsung Captivate with ATT (only $50 because the new infuse just came out). One stipulation to switching to a touch screen was that it NEEDED to have swype. I can honestly say after a few days of using swype that I am just as fast at typing on my old faithful physical keyboard. The software is pretty amazing. Get an Android phone with Swype unless you want to end up like these people: http://damnyouautocorrect.com/
poison.ivy
I've had a blackberry for like the past 6 years, but sometimes I do get a little droid-envy. Personally, for me, having a physical keyboard is a huge deal + the security/e-mail aspect of the Bold is a major plus. That saying, they're releasing a Blackberry iOS7 soon, so if you wanna wait for that, I would encourage it, but if not go for a droid.
