Belkashif Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 (edited) Hello there! Jailbreak. Everyone knows Jailbreak. People play Jailbreak for fun. Only one thing. Jailbreak is a daily routine. Everyday I join Jailbreak we usually do that same things over and over again. Including Last Reactions, 300's, Obstacle, Wardays, Freeday, Opinionated days. So therefore I was chilling on TS3 when I got knocked out with some new ideas to make JB games much more fun. I invented a few games that might make Jailbreak much more fun so I asked the Divisional Council about those Ideas and they liked them. So hear I am making a post of the new ideas that should be occurring in Jailbreak. I Got High (!dizzy) This category basically is all about adding flavor to games. For example: - Dizzy Obstacle (Normal obstacle but T's are dizzy) - Dizzy Football (Play a friendly match of football while your dizzy) - Dizzy Warday (T's including CT's get dizzy on a warday) - Dizzy 300 (Play a knifing match while your dizzy) This category does NOT include dizzy freeday and NO other games other than mentioned above. Each Dizzy Event has to have atleast 5 rounds in between another Dizzy Event Occurs. NOTE: Using !dizzy on random players without a reason or without it being part of a game will be marked as abuse. !dizzy is only allowed if it is part of a game from those mentioned above ONLY!! racker16 Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 meh, people are going to post abuse reports and people are going to abuse regardless of the amount of commands admins have. Of course the severity of the abuse is determined by the commands we have. Whether its a day or two of free slays, or a day of two of drugs or being dizzy, if its abuse the person gets punished and the abuse stops. Giving one more command isn't going to erupt the abuse report forum, well, it probably will for like a day or two, but after that it will be fine. Abusers have a lot more "abusive" commands (as stupid as that sounds) such as ban and tlist compared to making someone dizzy. We have low grav wardays and blind 300 days but they are only run when trusted admins who have access to those commands are there to organize them. When you allow every admin to use those commands for the sake of games, you simply open the door for them to use it for other reasons. In the minds of many younger admins (not necessarily bad admins but just less mature/less sensible admins), it goes like this: Dizzy during obstacle makes it more fun. Dizzying all the Ts during any random day makes it more fun (for me). I should use Dizzy whenever I want. Now this is obviously a gross simplification of it, but the true situation isn't really so far off. Dizzy w.e days seems like a fine option and I'm all for it... as long as we're leaving the dizzy commands in the hands of admins who have been deemed fit to use them. Describe mature in a way that doesn't involve using examples of things that go on in jailbreak. Clearly impossible. But yes it is a good idea, only problem is people over using it. I agree with that but there is only one (well actually more) problem. Trusted admins aren't on a lot on jailbreak, which is fine i understand people have lives and or want to be on a different server. And since there is a handful of people who are trusted and are actually on jailbreak at little times, people tend to forget about these kind of things until someone brings it up and there is no trusted admins on. So, the real main idea is that paying admins can do this put with really strict restrictions. Like Belkashif said. There must be 5 rounds between each game that has to do with the dizzy thing. When you do things over and over and over again it just loses everything that was awesome. People would do it all the time and it would just be lame and boring, even at 5 rounds in between. If we give admins the command to gravity, we should not be banning them for using it.. Either we remove the command or they are allowed to use it. I believe same thing for dizzy! Homer was saying we either ALLOW people to use it and get a fuckton or reports of people abusing, or they take the power away and simplify the problem. Same with dizzy. If it was given to all the admins there would be more abuse, and for when it is not being abused there would be hater admins that would make an abuse report anyway.
