Wolfman Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Alright so I had a power outage last night and it caused my computer to obviously shut off. It came back on and my computer turned on. I hadn't noticed till today that something wasn't right, I looked at my clock and my rainmeter calendar and noticed they set themselves to 1/1/2008. I figured this wasn't a big deal because I could just reinstall rainmeter and go from there. I reset my computers default clock and that's all I have done so far. ***used my atomic clock for reference*** Could it have messed up anything else or hurt something? Computer/modem/router all plugged in to surge protector. Power goes out, really loud thunder, and then bam. Computer's power supply along with an ethernet port are killed.
