Wabbit
http://www.extremetech.com/computing/95633-amd-bulldozer-fx-pricing-revealed-a-lot-cheaper-than-sandy-bridge AMD’s FX Series will be very, very cheap: the six-core FX-6100 (i.e. three Bulldozer modules) clocked at 3.3GHz, with a Turbo Core boost to 3.9GHz, will retail for just $155. The eight-core (four-module) FX-8120, clocked at 3.1GHz and boosted to 4GHz, will retail for $185  and the 3.6GHz/4.2GHz FX-8150 will retail for $230. Each Bulldozer module has 2MB of L2 cache, so the FX-6100 has 6MB of L2  and its eight-core brethren have 8MB. All three chips have 8MB of L3 cache. six-core FX-6100 3.3GHz, with a Turbo Core boost to 3.9GHz $155 eight-core FX-8120 3.1GHz and boosted to 4GHz $185 eight-core FX-8150 3.6GHz/4.2GHz $230 i7 2600k is $299, and is way faster than Bulldozer, AMD is giving us more cores but Slower, Do we rlly need 8 cores for gaming? or u prefer a fast 4 core cpu

Wabbit
mother fucker i just bought amd phenom II x6, and i m late damn it m,mmmm u can return it? u didnt hear that the new AMD chips were coming out? also Intel is gonna release their new i7 Sandy Bridge Generation this month, Core i7-3820 3.6 GHz 3.9 GHz 4 cores to 8 with turbo L3 cache at 10 MB 4-channel DDR3-1600 around $320, it will b the replacement of the 2600k
RetiredTacos
Good chip for the price, not as fast as SB but faster then PHII, good stuff.
Wabbit
Good chip for the price, not as fast as SB but faster then PHII, good stuff. six-core FX-6100 3.3GHz, with a Turbo Core boost to 3.9GHz $155 which is the lowest AMD offers, and Intel has the i5 2500k for $190 and faster than the FX-6100. $155 six cores. $190 4 cores but faster. we need 6 cores for gaming? it seems AMD cant make fast cpus to compete with intel, so their trowing more cores for less.
