If Putin wins two presidential terms in a row, he will have been atop the Russian hierarchy for almost a quarter-century.

+1 Putin for 2012

- Russia is world 11th largest economy 6th in purchasing power potential

- Under Putins years in office GDP doubled, industry grew 75%, investments 125%, the volume of consumer credit between 2000–2006 increased 45 times, middle class grew from 8 million to 55 million

- People living under poverty line is 13% (US just hit 15%, tho they who make money make more than russians do)

I would much rather have this dude as president, though Putin isn't that bad.

Back then Russians had everything but couldn't say anything now they have nothing but can say anything they want.

Communism and Democracy, both great ideas for a government, unfortunately people are greedy sacks of shit and ruin it.

ALL HAIL PLATO'S REPUBLIC

They should vote the communist party.

Communism can be great but there are a few problems:

1. Karl Marx said dictators need to be in power for a while to help the transition from the old system to Communism then leave, but the dictators stay in power and another just takes over after the old one dies or resigns. Prime examples are Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, and Joseph Stalin.

2. Many 100% communist countries that still exist (the only one I can think of is North Korea) or did exist had no consumer freedom, and the quotas they placed made people build half-assed products. For example, there were cars in the Soviet Union that had no wheels when they got in the market.

Communism and Socialism need democracy for it to exist, Marx says so. USSR technically wasn't communist, only communist thing about it was that everyone was "equal". Capitalism ---> Socialism ---> Communism would be the transition, and democracy is a big part of it.

Ok, I'm gonna put it like this: Russians like strength. They respect power, and they respect leaders. Putin is the perfect candidate for this pseudo-democratic dictatorship, and he performs well at his job. The above stated figures such as,

Under Putin's years in office GDP doubled, industry grew 75%, investments 125%, the volume of consumer credit between 2000–2006 increased 45 times, middle class grew from 8 million to 55 million
go to show that his goal is to make Russia a powerhouse, and to make himself remain in power. I support this shit, on accounts of all of our dreams of ruling the world, and this guy actually fuckin' doing it. Good shit, Mr. Putin.

Stalin is sort of odd. You would be surprised as to how many Russians actually DO like him.

He did make Russia into a industrialized powerhouse that rivaled the US until it's collapse and led the Russians during WW2. If you look past his bad things like the killings, he is one of Russia's greatest leaders (and they don't have a lot of good ones in their history).
