Honestly just don't know anymore

So lately my whole family has been going through like one huge rough patch and today it just got worse. My mom was told she can't renew her lease for her store which ends on Oct. 31st. This is a huge blow to us as she uses the store to finance our house, medical bills for my stepdads cancer and helps me with college. I hhave no clue what to do anymore as this was my job too and with the way the economy is I don't know if I'll find another job. She already ordered stuff for the holiday season and now she won't be able to sell it. I started a petition but I don't know if it will work. Any ideas guys?

I as a Korean am offended. Hyundais are great.

Never said they weren't..

Anyway, like everyone else is suggesting. Apply EVERYWHERE, anything that you do for fun try and minimize the amount of time spent doing that and work. Don't drop out of collage though, that will help you in the long run and messing that up wont help very much. Always look at the positives and stay focused.

join the army,air-force,navy or marines.

This is one of the main ways the military gets people to join. Just because someone is in a bad financial situation doesn't mean they have to play a sucker. He'd be abandoning his family because not only would he not be there to physically help out, but he also wouldn't be making enough money to help out with money either.

Joining for non-patriotic reasons = running away from your problems and taking the easy way out. Our military force is largely mercenary at this point. Don't contribute to it.

Military: BAD

Civilian: GOOD

Understand?

Not really. Unless your the type that likes to sit on your ass and piss and moan about how bad your life is. No one asked for the bullshit hands that we're dealt. Don't bash the military just because it may not be your cup of tea. Its his choice. At the end of the day we're all just giving him advice aren't we?

First of all, why are you italicizing everything you write? It's ridiculous and makes it harder to read.

You gave advise and I gave my own advise as to why I think your advise is bad. Deal with it.

If he wanted to join the military, he'd join. Suggesting it as an escape is a bad idea.

Not to mention it's an evil organization that destroys everything it touches and doesn't give a fuck about it. The idea of serving is honorable, but in reality it's not quite so. Actions and results speak louder than romantic fantasies. /points to history books

I didn't say they were bad. They are reliable but feature-wise, they are pieces of shit. When I was buying my BMW, I decided to go take a look at the Genesis and it drives completely different and it is not nearly as nice as even a nicely optioned 3-Series.

A nicely optioned 3-Series BMW is quite a bit more expensive than a Genesis. It should be nicer.
