The world just lost a great, and extremely intelligent person. His death isn't only felt in the world but it is especially saddening for me. People may hate on Apple for their products but without them we would not have the advances we have today. The iPod, iPhone, and iPad truly paved the way for all the similar products like them today in each of their categories. Steve Jobs, Stanford Commencement Adress, 2005 I somewhat ironically found out about his death while doing a seminar exercise at Adobe MAX. It's obvious he knew that this was coming as he was making a gradual exit for many months before this official departure in August. I personally didn't agree with all his views and decisions, but can't deny that his larger concepts definitely affected how we see and use technology for the better. I do however fully respect that he accomplished what he did and was still extremely conntected, supportive and involved in the lives of his wife and children, and I'm happy that when he passed he was surrounded by those he loved, and who loved him, which is the best any of us could ask for.
