Bonbon Posted November 21, 2011 Share Posted November 21, 2011 So, a few people were modest enough to bring to our attention that there was a glitch in the script that allowed people to join gangs when they didn't have enough money. Actually, after an update a while back, it was accidently made that the cost to join a gang was the level of that gang, not the level * 50. I noticed on saturday that 42 people had joined gangs, when their total points spent was less than 50, so there are at LEAST 42 people who are unrightfully in a gang. The good thing about this is that people only spent 1 or 2 points to join that gang. Unfortunately, we can't just let people stay in those gangs, when they didn't earn it... So, here's what's gunna happen If your total points spent - amount of points you've contributed to your gang is less than 50, you will be removed from your gang The membercount for your gang will decrease by 1, but YOU WILL NOT LOSE ANY POINTS Your total points contributed to your current gang will be kept, should you later decide to return to your gang Don't worry, gang leaders won't be removed, because they had to spend 400 points to create their gang For those of you who were modest enough to report this bugYou will NOT removed from your gang. Angel Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Oh yeah, I forgot to mention to someone that when I joined JJK's gang a few days ago when I had 52 or 54 points that only 2 points were taken away. My bad, been kinda busy these last few days. I don't know if I've been removed from the gang since I haven't been on, but if I have I understand. Thanks for the heads up. Unless you're in the server right meow, It'd probably take you longer for me to give you the points than it would be for you to find 15 drugs anyhow. Unless you're in the server right meow, It'd probably take you longer for me to give you the points than it would be for you to find 15 drugs anyhow. That's fine, I know I've probably been removed now since I've only donated 10 points and spent 15 on 1 flashbang lol. I know I didn't tell you or anyone else about the glitch, I meant to but like I said I got caught up with irl stuff; I don't have you on my Steam Friends list and I've never spoken to you on TS3. dw about it though, it's fine.
