Cal45
Let's see you Krav fight a Smith and Wesson If you're pointing it in my face (which a lot of people without experience do), you're going to end up eating the business end of that gun. Cookie
Obviously you don't know shit about Krav if you think it's "not that hard," especially in this class. It was full of cock diesel cops that blur the line between training and actually fighting for real. One of the students went to the hospital. I have actually done a lot training for hand-to-hand combat and I have completed a complete course with krav, and scars. Krav was not as hard to learn than scars. When you learn scars, its almost like mental math. You'll use it while you sleep, meaning if you get attacked the guy is going to be down before you are even fully conscience. I see krav more as a street fighting, like run hit someone so they cant come at you anymore and run away. While with scars they teach you to go for nerves
UrShulgi
Marine Corps combat generally relies on muscle memory, through lots of repetition. Being as SEALs are marines, it makes sense that SCARS is automatic. The idea as I understand it is that marines can perform combat effectively even when completely exhausted, because it's trained to the point of becoming muscle memory. Cookie
Uhm...you do realize that the entirety of the Marine Corps is a technically Navy? true I guess (inb4 a civi tries to tell me different), but they do not fight the same way.
LazaHorse
Very wrong. That's like saying the airforce and the army are the same. They are two separate corps, even though they sometimes fight together. Actually he's correct. The Marine Corps are a component of the naval branch of our armed forces, though they are often two separately fighting entities.
