Too many instructions before...

The prisoners leave the cells. It's really lame to have instructions before you leave the cell (i.e. "put your left shoulder on xxx). The game is more fun if everyone gets out of the cell alive and then start the orders. Also leads do the same things over and over and over. Let's spice it up some.

AFks die if they don't leave their cell. That's a easy solution.

One problem is that at the very beginning a lot of people talks and sometimes it's hard to hear exactly what was asked, then you're killed still in the cell. Which is very lame and makes the round long just watching because you were killed in the first 10 seconds.

Derps are going to get weeded out regardless, that's no reason.

It also doesn't make saying "once cell doors open go to xxx or do xxx" any harder or easier.

Honestly, I feel as if the orders in cells calm down T's. If you give an order 10 seconds into the round like "run to the bottom of cells stairs, freeze upon arrival, etc." they're more likely to rebel. CT's can also get to their positions to cover areas where T's will run.

IMHO its about the strategy. Leads do it to help the CT's get into position without risking baiting/getting killed. It also helps calm the T's down to help the rest of the day go a bit easier/less rushed.

wow you did a great job saying exactly the same as youthedog and making it look as if you said something different :D :D

but yeah, this. :P

Giving orders early gets Ts to be attentive to future orders as Batters said. A T is more likely to crouch out of his cell if he's already told to be in a specific position before doing so. If he's running around aimlessly in his cell because orders don't apply (a la eGO rules), he's less likely to heed the crouch order because a precedent of command hasn't been established yet.

As an analogy... is a dog more likely to bark on command after it's sitting on it's butt facing you or if it's running around aimlessly chasing it's tail? Initial orders set up leads to give orders out of cells and vice versa.

If the in cell order is really that complicated, admins have discretion to warn/slay the lead.

You may not know it if you have never led before, but giving these in cell orders are essential in calming the ts down, getting them under control, and keeping them in order.

You see occasionally a lead right off the bat say "ALL TS RUN TO BIG CAGE" opens the cell doors, and a minute later all the cts are dead.

Leads have been doing this for years, it works, makes things easier for everyone

That's fine and I respect your opinions on it.

Laz-- I simply posted my observation and opinion with a solution as I saw it. To attack me for that is lame and to threaten me with a ban because of it is even lamer. Your threats of a ban pose no consequence to me as there are a million other communities that play CSS. If you are a closed minded block head then by all means ban me and I'll move on to a more rational easy going community. I do see you're the only one with a chip on their shoulder so I take it as a grain of salt compared to this "community".
