60Seconds
My building has a day-care club, I just drop my daughter off when I go to eat out. My building is also a hotel, so we get a lot of tourist kids at the pool, which does suck. But there are adults only pools, so thats a solution. But yeah, little kids shouldn't go to restaurants. (Headband)(EG)
What the hell are you talking about? Some of these kids who live in nassau have houses that make cribs in the hamptons look small. I do like suffolk better though
60Seconds
I don't like Nassau, feels like a suburb of New York. Suffolk feels like a completely different place. I especially like the contemporary mansions by the beach in Southampton. But back onto topic lol.
Kirk
For all the people defending the parents/kids. Nobody likes paying ridiculously high prices to see some shitty movie only to listen to some cunt kid cry. The majority of the patrons don't support that and either does the establishment, so it makes no sense why that should be tolerated and allowed at a restaurant. 60Seconds
My uncle used to own a restaurant in NYC. He had a family that came in and was really loud and people were complaining, so when it came time to take their orders, he says "What would you like to drink? We have two types of drinks, SHUT THE FUCK UP, OR GET THE FUCK OUT!"

FDR
Look, I like kids. I take care many of my cousins who are between 2-8 years old (I have a lot of young cousins), but I hate going to restaurants and having little kids cry when I'm trying to enjoy my meal and talk with my friends or family. When I went to see The Avengers, I had a little girl sit behind me who talked the entire movie, and the mom wouldn't do anything. If I have a kid, I would not let them go to a restaurant until they are older. That's my opinion.

I had a bunch of kids doing that shit during the movie, so I turned around, pulled out my wallet and told them I'd give them $20 each if they stayed quiet for the rest of the movie. Then at the end, I was like "Just kidding" and left.

mccaincracker
I work at a pizza place, and I myself find it annoying when kids are running around the store screaming, making messes, etc. But sometimes in the case of an infant or other circumstantial incidents it really depends. Sure it's annoying; but the parents can't take all of the blame either
60Seconds
What do you mean they can't take the blame? They took their kids there in the first place, so it's their fault. Also, adults are much stronger than a 3 year old, I'm pretty sure that they can keep their kids from running around.
mccaincracker
You cant exactly "force" an infant not to cry. I mean like I said before I work at a pizza place it's not like there's a sign that says "no babies allowed". I think you're taking your experience too personally and not seeing both sides of the situation. Sure, the parents in your case could have handled their kids accordingly but sometimes you just have to get over it.

Kaylor
True Story. I don't like to eat at resturaunts as much, but this story has something to do with eating :3 I went to the park with my friend to have a little picnic. About three or four children(probably elementary kids) sat near us. One was hold a big flower and playing with it. All of a sudden that girl shouts out " HOW BIG IS YOUR PUSSY!" to her friend. I'm like, are you kidding me? I didn't even know that word until Middle School. If I was their mom, I would've been very angry with her.. Just saying. Our generation has changed a lot because of new technologies developing. So the kids mindset changes as well..

Jella
I don't care if people bring kids/babies to restaurants. If there is a kid that won't sit the hell down and/or shut the fuck up, I say something to the kid and parent. If a baby cries, I suck it up and hope that there is someone in that party that can step out and calm it down. Or realize it's time to go if it doesn't stop crying.
