5. Reason for ban: I'm not totally sure. I was playing on the Jailbreak server for awhile, following all rules and having a good time. Then i hopped on the Dust2DM server for like 2 minutes, and then I was banned? What happened?

 

I did nothing wrong. Please unban me so i can play.

I read the PM you sent me. That wasn't me or any of us. I would've known if it was anyone from my group, because I wouldn't allow it. I told you guys we would leave you guys alone and I made sure nothing else was posted on your Steam Page. I made sure of it. We haven't done a thing to you guys. Please unban me and the rest of us. We are just trying to stay peaceful with all gaming communities.

 

EDIT: Also, I'm the only admin/mod on my website? No one could have done anything from my group? What even happened to you guys? Because we didn't do a thing. I told you we would leave you alone and that's what we did. I dont understand why we are all banned?

Listen, I'm all for keeping the peace, but the guy that caused the ban was one of your admins. He came here and made a random rant (which I would LOVE to break down point by point as to why it's retarded [see below]) and posted mine and Billy Mays IP addresses like what...we're supposed to be terrified? Regular users I'm guessing can't see which IPs people connect to your forums from, meaning it was an admin. Judging by how many users your forums have registered, and being that we've provided you with the posters IP address, I would guess you shouldn't have a problem finding them.

Back to that same cloud hosted point. Are we capable of hosting the web page on one of our dedicated boxes? Yes. But again we don't do it because it can impact performance. Do some research before spouting off stupid crap like this. If you want to look at all of the pages on that box, I'm sure you'll find lots. There are probably small businesses, lawyers, doctors, aspiring musicians, and family photo albums too. Your point?

 

And then the last line of it, I'm guessing that's a threat at a DDoS because you have my IP address? First of all, it's obvious from your post that you know exactly DICK about computers. Did you know that on our dedicated servers, each box has multiple IP's? Yeah turns out that since we didn't want people to have to remember port numbers after the IP, we just went ahead and got each server that's hosted it's own IP address. I know you're probably thinking "How is that possible?! I thought if I had your IP it was like game over for you. At least that's what 30 seconds worth of reading a Google search for 'how to hack' led me to believe."

 

Turns out bud, we're a bit more tricksy than you might think. You know how often we get hit with DDoS's like what you're threatening? Daily. There is literally probably one happening right now. We've gotten so good at dealing with them that we now eat DDoS's for breakfast, have a little afternoon delight with your mother while it's digesting, and shit ban reports before consuming a massive dinner of multiplayer domination. YOLO?

 

In closing, I would like to restate how absolutely terrified I am of these empty threats. If there is anything I can do to get you to call off your impending attack which will result in my inevitable defeat, please let me know. Its pointless, and you're just ranting on and on and on, just like you did on the forums, and now you are just making accusations. But i can tell you, I NEVER was apart of that, and NO ONE on my website was either. All of them on my website are just gamers, and most of them have already said that they dont really know anything about computers, they just have them to game on. And myself.. i dont even know half the stuff your talking about because i dont need to? I'm trying to run a friendly community, with no problems, and just run good servers? I add a simple mod such as SMF, and add pages and add to the pages as i want. Its easy. And I've been setting up small CS:S servers for a few years now, and its easy. I am the most friendly person you would meet ever, and i strive hard at being successful. I work hard to get my own money, I dont make shortcuts or rip people off or cheat my way. This problem started because your group spammed our steam group asking for invites and saying we sucked if we removed the message. I registered on your forums and posted what was spammed, and responded to it. Although my response was probably tersely worded, it wasn't flying off the handle. Flying off the handle is what you did when you responded there. You immediately stated that you knew who HG were and weren't going to get bullied around, plus that we were corrupt because we take donations and sell admin to keep the bills paid. That thread was deleted from your forums, I dropped the issue. No further posts were made in your forums, and no one contacted you guys to instigate anything further. Then a few days later, some idiot from your group comes here and posted what I was just quoting back to you. We decided that if you guys wanted to keep pushing the issue, we'd just end it (which resulted in the banning of your steam group from our servers). You'll notice that in this whole series of events, I was reacting to events you guys created. Here's an idea: If you don't want problems, don't start them.

 

As far as the unban for the group, you tell us who we should ban (member name and steam-id of who posted that) and we'll correct the mistake. Until then, you can suffer as a group since you've been dicks throughout this process. In the event you are unable to find this person, in a while the ban will be lifted. I would advise going forward that anyone in your group that plays in our servers is already on thin ice, and we're not going to put up with any more crap.

I told you.. WE WILL DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU. NONE of us were apart of this. You have the wrong people. I have questioned, and asked all of my members on the forums and none of them would even know how to do anything that this person is doing. Myself doesnt even know! If we were apart of this, why was only 2 of your members targeted? I was looking through my site trying to find anything that would help you guys out, and i noticed that you had like 4 or 5 members register on our forums? If it was us, why would we only target 2 of them and not all of them? That doesnt make ANY sense! I dont know what you want me to do? You want me to pick out a random kid from our forums, get his steam id and username and say "hey! here is the person! i caught him! ban him!"?? Seriously? This is not even right or fair. Especially because its being handled by you Shulgi. You are all worked up and pissed off because you were the one being targeted, and you don't care at all about our community or anyone else right now. If you did, you wouldnt of went on a rampage and handled this like you did and flipped the fuck out. You are being ridiculous. You banned a bunch of innocent people for no reason. You banned a bunch of friendly, nice, gamers.. because you "suspected" that it was ONE of us. When you really have no clue who it was. You have no proof who it was. And you have no evidence who it was.

 

This situation seriously needs to be handled by another Council Member, who isn't going to flip out about this and handle it in a very bad way.

 

Because, to start off.. I dont know a whole lot about your "Ddosing/hacking BS" talk.. but if you really wanted to fix the problem.. all you need to do is get the guy's IP that was logged on your forums from that account that posted the threat, and ban the IP from your servers. I mean that would be the sensible thing to do. Not ban 300 other gamers, including me.. who'm had nothing to do with any of this.

 

And Shulgi, you say that "we can suffer as a group since we've been dicks throughout this proccess"... Well I would love to know, would love to be told how we are being "dicks" when we came to you guys about this all, we asked to be unbanned in a polite nicely manner because we were banned for no reason, and we are politely offering to do what we can to help you guys out.. oh and we are telling the 100% truth as well. And you havent put up with any crap? What crap have you put up with from us? We havent done a thing wrong. We arent apart of your little threats at all. We dont give a shit about trying to threat or scare you guys, we could care less.
