JJK
I will post my progress to fix my computer and if anyone knows somethign they can jump in. LONG FUCKIN STORY SHORT...The Problem: Complete lock up of windows 3 min - 30 mins. No apparent pattern. When did this start happening? After thermal was reapplied. (my temps were high, but no system problems, simply as precaution) This does not seem to happen in safe mode! (i think it did bsod in safe mode once, but ive reformated since then so i dunno yet, safe mood seems legit) Edited July 14, 2012 by JJK

JJK
Tried rearranging memory and checking cables. Cleared CMOs / removed battery and power drain Updated bios I have only played with services a tad bit
JJK
I plan to test services / review event log when it happens again No dump files are created due to it hanging. No system beeps, and 'thinking' light will freeze to either on or off and not flicker anymore Tried 3 graphic cards, and 2 diff monitors Hardly touched bios settings, because im not too good with voltages, and because ive never touched it before ive tried start up repair / windows repair / error checker No doubt, ive restarted dozens of times, which has bene long enough to eventually install most of the windows updates Im goign on about 15 mins with no lockup, all i did this time was remove a service or two (but they were always fine before)
