I Love Lamp Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 A few of us (Hobbes, Richie, Moo and others) have started a guild on Moon Guard, Alliance side. We are looking to see if there is any community interest in joining alongside us. This is not an official super duper HG guild, it's something casual that we started so we're all together on the server. What this guild is: Casual (yes, we'll be raiding, but it's more of a "oh look we have 10 people of the right spec on, let's do this) Awesome (because I'm GM) Intelligent (a very strict "no retards" rule, enforced by gkicks) What this guild is NOT: Your personal diary (keep the dumb out of guild chat) A "free run" guild (do not expect people to run you through things, either leveling or later) A drama factory (zero tolerance.) Also is Moonguard the server where theres all the horny bastards in the Goldshire Inn? Quick question, why pick a server like MG? In my opinion, a server like Illidan would be better- it's top-rated for PvE, and it's a PvP server as well. You'd likely get a lot more endgame there, and easier openings into Dragon Soul / MoP raids, unless something big changes in September. I realize it's...low key, progression-wise, however, I personally don't want to do bleeding edge raid content anymore and that's partly why I chose it as well. (though I'm cross-realm because I'm still at Sen'Jin) I don't really see an issue unless you're leveling. DS right now is only open to LFM cross realm raiding but soon enough I'll be able to do DS with them crossrealm. Moreover, raiding crossrealm is only an issue if you have class clashes (e.g. a trinket that works for a tank but they're cross realm). We used to do that in lower level RAIDs (we =/= richie and them). As long as we're having fun and we can have fun, I don't really care where the realm is xD I'm so surprised that we still pay for this game though...
