Magic
So i'm starting to save up for a gaming mouse (time to move on from my $20 mouse lol). So heres my budget everyone: My budget is $75, but i'm willing to pay the extra $5-10. I don't care what company it is just as long as its good and will last me a long time. Some companies i've been looking at are Logitech, Razer, Roccat, etc...

kimzy
logitech g400. I'm so glad I spent that money on it. It's about 50 euros for me cause they dont like europeans (thats about 65 or so dollars) but on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Optical-Gaming-High-Precision-910-002277/dp/B0055QZ216/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345419560&sr=8-1&keywords=logitech+g400 it's only 35 dollars. Newegg sells it for abou 43 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104577 This mouse is awesome. like, really. I would marry it if I could. also, don't get wireless.. inb4 your battery is low when you're in the middle of a game.. I am also pretty sure I heard before that razer makes its products to eventually die out so you'll need to buy new shit not too long after the warranty expires. I mean I love my razer charcharias headset but this mouse, the g400, it's so perfect. I asked around too and a lot of people advised me either the g400 or the mx518, which basically is the older(no longer produced) version of the g400. it's really simple and clean. Me gusta mucho. youthedog
Get a DeathAdder and a new mouse pad to go along with it. It's a simple mouse, WIRED mouse too. It's used by many pro gamers aswell. I'm getting this combo http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.906783. Look at these. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153087 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153095 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153064

Magic
Now the G500 i've been looking at along with the deathadder, but with the nagas are those buttons on the side a problem for gamers?
BranHorse
I have the naga epic, sensor is just meh. I don't use it anymore it just sits on my desk. My mionix naos 5000 is much better but it double clicks all the time =/
youthedog
Now the G500 i've been looking at along with the deathadder, but with the nagas are those buttons on the side a problem for gamers? What do you mean by a problem? They're there to bind stuff to, as long as you don't get frustrated and squeeze your mouse, you'll be fine. I'd prefer the hex over the rest because the buttons are pushed out more and have more identity so you don't accidentally press the wrong one. Magic
I have to say the molten and the hex are grabbing my attention. As well as the g500.
youthedog
Also, remember to look at reviews for each of the mice.
ExGBrian
I have to say the molten and the hex are grabbing my attention. As well as the g500. g500 has great reviews and very good. And don't worry about the extra buttons and hitting them, you'll get use to it and you'll learn to love it.
Magic
After watching a ton of reviews on each mouse my decision is the g500 by Logitech. The reasoning with the molten was it was more of a mmo mouse for games like WoW and I don't play any MMOs so it would just be extra buttons laying around for me. For the hex it just looked to small and I didn't like where some of the button placement was. For the deathadder, again basic and looked good, but it didn't have the extra capability with the g500. The g500 met all of my requirements and I didn't see a single thing wrong about it. Interchangeable weights, custom dpi changer, two side buttons which makes it eaiser to talk, etc... All I really needed for my CS:S needs.
