Tommo
Since i'm not extremely sure about what hardware works with other hardware, i'm asking for someones help. I have this mobo and wouldn't mind acquiring a SSD. Which sata version does my board support? http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/desktop-motherboards/desktop-board-dh55hc.html
Short
Well, your motherboard has six sata 3 Gb/s instead of 6 Gb/s, not sure how much of a performance hit that would be will the ssd.

Short
Would my mobo support a sata 3 SSD? Or can it only support sata 2? You can use it, but it might not take full advantage of the SSD's speed.
BeachMoneyWeed
Yea u can use most ssd with 3gbps the one I have reads 500 MB/s (SATA 6Gbps) and writes 450 MB/s (SATA 6Gbps) and if it was running 3bgps its pretty much in half lol. But 3 gbps ssd is still faster than HDD so id still get
