On Boot-Up..

My computer has a boot up password. I went to enter it for the first time in maybe 5 days or so and it said invalid. I thought maybe I forgot it but I have used every password I would ever possibly use & nothing.

Is there anyway it could be changed via another computer or virus?

That^ or you could try to contact the support team for your computer's manufacturer and they should be able to give you a master password that will unlock it. I had to do that with one of the laptops I got, contacted Dell support with another computer and gave them all the info they required, boom, was given a password that unlocked it... WOOT!

What i was asking, might have been a little vague, is could anyone have changed it from another computer with like a key logging program or something?

Most likely not.

I have heard of virus' that change the user's password but it's more likely someone is just fucking with you.

look up what an azerty keyboard looks like.

type it out as if you would type it on an azerty keyboard. When my brother had the problem of "wrong password" I made him try typing it out as if he was typing it on a qwerty (cause we have azerty) and it worked.. and no one had changed anything about it..
