Really Vetman? How many times have you been temp'd from the community? You have no room to talk, and show some damn respect for the so-called "power hungry" Staff members that have kept you here.

Really. I've been here longer than you...You don't have POV to even relate to what I'm referring to. You know, this is really similar to a certain thread on the other forums. I know who has kept me here, or at least who has made an effort to keep me here. I don't know if you have, but with what has transpired in the past month or so, I'm inclined to believe otherwise. I can't read staff chat and see that you've defended me. If you have, that's great. I don't need you to defend me and then blackmail me with it on the forums.

This ignorant - drama shit is the reason why you're not on my friends list anymore.

I liked when we didnt have divisions, it just makes everyone feel so segregated to everyone else. However, having divisions creates a sense of semi-community within them. I wouldn't have talked to 1/8th of the people in this organization if it weren't for the division stuff.

Both sides have its pro's and cons, can we just let it rest? Laz has a point in the OP, he wasn't singling anyone out nor was he poking fun about how things a run. He was just stating a common misconception.

There is no need to attack anyone, but then again. I speak too soon because that's how everyone gets their rocks off around here.

You know it... this is just opinion and everyone shared an opinion.

After reading what laz said, this is what it is. People think divisions are what breaks us apart, and to a degree it does.

If you want the camaraderie and forge commonality between other divisions stop being so worried about what the fucking division says and just play with them.

As a Council member, sure I don't have an active tag but on the old website, I identified with gmod. Doesn't mean I played gmod all day and every time. Doesn't you should either.

What I'm trying to say is: stop putting so much fucking stock into a little tag on teamspeak 3 (that includes all leadership tagged up) and just play your games like you've always done. I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of the divisions but that doesn't mean that it's all BAD. Catastrophising a small organisational 'tag' (I'm with laz on that one) shouldn't hamper you from pursuing your gameplay. I think the problem is here, people are putting WAY too much stock into the tag itself instead of looking how they can help HG as a whole. Granted there are limitations with the tag, but like in an organisation, you wouldn't want a Financial Systems analyst doing your taxes. Why? because they don't know enough. Bringing a parallel to HG, I wouldn't intervene in some matters myself because I don't know the game well enough. It's simple as just looking at it as an organisational 'tag' if you will. Unfortunately, everyone (like I said again...) are putting way too much stock into the tag. I'm with laz on that, the only people that should be worried about this is leadership if it's a problem.

Locked thread already, but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents anyway...

This first post is pretty much my personal opinion of how divisions are (and that of many other council / UM). Divisions were meant to be purely organizational and not create the current 'us vs them' mindset that seems semi-common.
