Cop MOTD

1. When becoming a government employee all ties to your gang/friends are lost.

2. "Spike Strips" are ONLY used in disabling fleeing vehicles and establishing checkpoints ordered by the mayor.

3. As an officer of the law, you need 100% proof of drugs or illegal activity. Seeing drugs or an AK/M4 or hearing an explosion is good proof for a search warrant. Someone saying in an advert or OOC that someone has drugs isn't. Seeing weed/cocaine through a wall is also bad proof because that is considered metagaming.

4. There is no such thing as a corrupt cop. Either uphold the law or go be a citizen and break the law. Don't defend your friend's base when you know he's growing.

5. Although this is a Lite RP server, murder is ALWAYS against the law. If you see someone run someone over with a car, you may chase them and warrant them for a hit and run.

6. Do not randomly ticket. Any car parked neatly on the side of the road or two side-wheels on two side-wheels off is legal parking.

7. No shooting legs of players to slow them down. You have a taser for a reason.

8. Traffic laws now apply all the time, you do not need a mayor for them to be in effect.

9. Don’t use your lights and sirens for non RP purposes.

10. No government official is allowed to grow illegal substances, or own any buildings.

11. Under no circumstances will Officer/SWAT "CAMP" ANY locations on the server.

12. In cases where you are pursuing an evading citizen for any crimes committed, use your taser unless deadly force has been used on yourself or others.

*Any loopholes and discrepancies will NOT be accepted. If you think you're getting around a rule ask a DL, DS or a Mod first. *
