Hellsgamers 24/7 Crackhouse Server

Hi all,

I am new to this forum, but am posting to ask only one thing. I only play CS;GO pretty much exclusively on your 24/7 Crackhouse server. I have no interest in jailbreak, or the classic game modes. I love to get on and mess around for 20-30 minutes at a time and have found your server is the most fun place to get my casual fix of counterstrike.

 

What bothers me, however, is the incessant amount of machinegun spawn camping that takes place on the server. Nothing is more frustrating than to be playing as a terrorist and die 10 times in 10 seconds because the entire CT team has negevs and is camping the spawn. I recognize that admins are routinely moving the terrorist spawn point around the map to minimize this, but it's still very frustrating.

 

Other deathmatch servers and even some classic game mode servers will limit the number of machineguns and awps available per team. While awps can be annoying, I feel the machinegun spam is really more of a problem. I want to pose to the admin the thought of implementing some kind of limitation to the number of MGs a team can have to perhaps create a more enjoyable experience for everyone. What do you think?

 

Edit: After I posted, I realized that if you limited MGs, perhaps even more people would turn to awps and autosnipes to get their cheap thrills. Maybe limiting the # of those also? I don't want the server to be too restrictive, but the machine gun thing really is out of hand.

To my knowledge the T's all spawn in 1 spot on the map which does cause spawn killing. I've asked a few times to have the spawns spread throughout the top story of the house but with little success so far. We don't want to limit the amount of guns that players can use in the server because it will effect the population negatively, especially with popular guns like the awp

Spreading the T's spawn locations across the top of the building would be a viable alternative to limiting weapons. While the CT's spawn in one location (and even out in the open), they aren't all spawning on top of eachother on the exact same location. Might could even move some of the CT spawn into the building next to the APC to prevent T's from sniper-spawn-camping the CT's.
